Anyway what I've noticed, as I try to play the game as an RPG, is that IRC clutter makes the whole thing a mess. By disabling everything except say and yell, I can enjoy the game world much much more. Instead of reading irrelevant LFG WTG WTF ROXORZ BOXORZ OMG HAX ROFLMAO spam in /2 /3 /5 or ethereal guildies arguing over some dumb stuff via wowternet, I'm reading quest text and enjoying the environment.
