Alright 20 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 Muting is done by a software system or by the GMs. Most commonly it is by the anti-spam software. This software is triggered by excessive chatting, by phrases repeated too often, by certain keywords, or by a 'chatty' addon. The mute usually wears off after about an hour. If the muting is longer or frequent, submit a ticket with specifics. Spam mutes can not be reversed when you are off line. Muting by the GMs is less common. This is most often used as a sanction.
