Tsubodai 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) I'm levelling an orc shaman, and found the xp through Durotar to be x1. However, now that I have reached Crossroads, the XP rate appears to have jumped to x2. Specifically, the quest "Lost in Battle" to find Mankrik's wife gives 2400xp to my level 14 character. Killing a lvl 12 Plainstrider (rested xp) gave 344 xp. I immediately hopped back over to my level 14 Druid on Nighthaven (vanilla) and did the same quest - 1200xp. Killing a lvl 12 plainstrider (rested xp) gave 172 xp. The official TBC FAQ specifically states x1 xp and no boosts of any kind. Am I missing something? Has the position changed? Tsubodai 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 OK so apparently it's because of the server downtime yesterday, and is a 24 hour boost to allow those people that lost levels/gains to catch back up.
