[SOLUTION] Clique Support for Luna Unit Frames

Recommended Posts

After a couple hours putting the pieces together, I finally got Clique working with LUF in vanilla. There's no clear, concise topic on this, so I figured I would post support for anyone else interested/frustrated getting Clique to work with LUF.

      1. Download the latest vanilla version of LUF here: https://github.com/Aviana/LunaUnitFrames/releases. Extract the folder and place it in

          Interface/Addons.

Note: If you already have LUF using a conversion pack such as RisenUI, etc, you don't need this first step, but it's a good

idea to periodically check for updates as development is currently active.

      2. The full addon Clique and the file to add LUF support can be found here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2XxM5W6IwecX1ZnbW1nX0VJSW8

                  a. If you currently do not have Clique, download the first folder and extract it to Interface/Addons. Everything is already set up.

                  b. If you already have Clique (and are sure it's the vanilla version), just download the second folder and extract it to

                      Interface/Addons/Clique/Plugins.

OFC none of these files are my own, all rights to the creators. the official LUF thread is here: https://forum.elysium-project.org/index.php?showtopic=23127 and Clique was acquired from the big list of vanilla addons here: https://forum.elysium-project.org/index.php?showtopic=23742

You claim convinience but you didn't pack the plugin and Clique together into a single zip file. Instead you re-packed my addon into a more exotic file format. And you re-uploaded it, making people download an outdated version once i update my addon. I'm sorry but this is just stupid.

This is the first time I've ever done something like this and I was just looking to help. I've updated the OP with your suggestions. Also: Exotic file format? It's 7zip...

You can use zip files without any 3rd party programm in Windows but 7zip requires one that makes it more "exotic". But nevermind, you improved your first post i see. I will link it in my addon description so people will find it easier.

Windows wouldn't let me use the built-in zip creator because one of the files had special characters, I think it was Korean or something. I'm sure I could have figured it out but I just wanted to get it done. Should I go back in and create regular zip files?

Also, thanks for linking it. I just hope it helps others who had the same issue.

Perhaps if you did it properly, your shoddy work wouldn't have to be fixed by other people. Also, 7zip is hardly "exotic".
