Hello, As a 56 mage, I'd like to begin farming in DM but I read a lot about Ely nerfing different part of the route, could anyone tell me if it is still relevant to do nowadays or if there are more profitable AOE places to go? If it is still the place to be, could anyone orient me to a cool guide ? I saw videos from Nost but I am not sure this is still relevant. Thank you !

If you were able to log on your old char then you must be on the wrong forum : Nighthaven was released in October and you cannot possibly access your old char since the realm where it is is offline. If you actually did log on your old char, chances are you did not change your realmlist and your were playing on Anathema, which is currently only hosted by the "rival" that emerged from the incident you mentioned. However, if this Averice you are talking about is a new char you created on Nighthaven, or if you are willing to start a new char, I can answer about the population but it depends on what you call "fairly empty". If 3k peaks are not enough for you, then yes, it is fairly empty. Please remember though that official vanilla severs were capped to 2.5k back in the days. J'imagine que tu t'es inscrit sur LH, je te déconseille d'y rester avant la sortie de leur nouveau serveur fin juin sinon celui sur lequel tu es va vite s'éteindre. On t’accueillerait quand même avec plaisir sur Nighthaven/Elysium, n'hésite pas.

Hello, J'avais monté un druide sur Nostalrius mais je suis un peu rouillé, je vais répondre aux choses sur lesquelles je peux te renseigner sans me connecter dessus, je verrai pour faire mieux en rentrant. Pour pex tu te spécialises effectivement farouche, quelque chose de ce genre là : http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0zLVhoZxGMscrdtV Le stuff, tu priorises dans cet ordre : Agilité > Force > Endurance, la puissance d'attaque et le score de critique sont également intéressant mais cela ne te concernera qu'en fin de leveling. Concernant les macros, je me souviens que j'en avais une qui me permettait de spam le changement de forme sans me faire démorph, mais il faut que je regarde en jeu. Carbonite n'est pas disponible en 1.12.1, je t'invite à essayer SimpleMiniMap qui est relativement bien même s'il ne dispose que de peu de fonctions esthétiques. Cartographer marche super bien en duo avec SMM, mais il te faudra également Questie pour les quêtes. Si tu préfères quelques chose de joli mais avec moins de fonction pour la minimap, tu as aussi NyaMap. Pour la barre de mana en forme animale, j'utilisais Druid Bar il me semble, mais Luna UI propose aussi une fonction de ce type, je te conseille plutôt Luna si tu as un minimum d'experience de configuration d'addons. I tried to farm the lashers yesterday after watching this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBWS9-5UQGU It works nicely, only died 3 times before mastering the route and the xp given is huge. However, I can't give a gold/hour rate for now but it sure is much more profitable than Dalson's Tears, I regret I waited so long to farm there. I heard you could clean more than 4 packs so if anyone know about the fifth one let me now.

After a bit of digging up, I am able to say it is still doable even if it is harder. However, you should be around 35-45g per 5 runs without herbalsim and enchant instead of more than 100g back on Nost before the nerf. This is due to changes to the loottable, to the amount of packs of lashers (from 10 to 4) and how fast the patrol is moving. I am not sure if this is still a good place to farm, I've been finding very different answers on this matter. I am not sure about DMN and BRD either. I know that DMN dogs were nerfed too, not sure about bugs. BRD spectators were nerfed too according to some dude on LH's forum. I think some uninstanced places must have become better by now but this should not be discussed here.

I'm not 60 yet either but all those complaints about the pvp scene are scaring me, getting more feedback from the gms would be nice

K, I added every single link to classicdb and some more items, dull work is dull. I used the DB of Rising Gods TLK server, but information there might be inaccurate since it's the same website I got the gloves of frozen wrath from : https://db.rising-gods.de/?item=10214 Better than nothing tho, I yes, getting those gloves should only be a matter of chance while doing ST for leveling or something. Actually farming them is almost crazier than farming Deathcharger's Reins since finding groups for ST is already a pain in the ass.

You can check the population here: http://vanillaradar.com/elysium-stats/ I'm not 60 yet, but I am quite close (51) and I would say the population is healthy atm if you compare it to official vanilla servers. 3000 players in peak times in fine with me. PvP is currently going through some problems, from what I understood, there are too much horde pvpers and not enough alliance one, resulting in horde having to face premades constantly. GMs should discuss it very soon and hopefully find a solution. Pve should be really fine since there are a lot of active semi hardcore guilds, if you speak english I guarantee you won't have problems finding one.

Hello, A lot of the sections of the forum are outdated in terms of pinned posts, not the mention all the non-pinned-posts that are completely irrelevant by now. I think cleaning the forum would make it more lively, especially since the elysium reddit is quite desert too and the discord does not fulfill the same purpose. Personally, it really bothers me and I really regret that the community on the forum is currently relatively inactive. Just a few examples of posts that should not be pinned imo, I can make a full list if you want me to.
