Ok guys its official. No server merge today. "Maybe" till the weekend. Considering they couldnt deliver on time at first i doubt it will happen anytime soon.

The 15th is almost over now and still no update about shit!! i took this day off work for the merge and now im sitting here like and idiot.

I am not a fan of this at all to be honest. The day we can "trade" coins for gold will kill the economy. If we increase the amount of gold "unnaturaly", all the ingame prices will go up due to a inflation. People with a high amount of gold to start with wont mind but if a lvl 20 character has to pay up3x the amount of gold while not be able to farm it ingame is kinda screwed. And why even implement this in the first place? No offense, but besides the 28slot bags there is nothing really worth buying in the shop right now. Some things(in my opinion) shouldnt even be in the shop like 250 coins for an email change. thats just ludacris.

its august 15th and there is still no update on the server merge. is there a dev/gm who can give us some iformation?

The same thing is happening to my right now. Dont worry. When this happens its normally because the devs are tinkering with something, there is high traffic or the login server is under attack it should be up soon again

So there is a chance i get him back tomorrow? I know i am the 1000th person to ask but this whole thread is confusing for me (english is not my native language)

Greetings Rain, I think i speak for most of the people who played through Nost, Elysium and Nighthaven that we would love to get our old Characters back, no doubt.. Maybe even some of the players who left because their characters got deleted will return, which is good for the community. But my question is, how would you do it? - what would be the gold cap? - why only bring back chars from pvp servers? - will they still be transfered to the upcoming TBC server?
