There have been no updates on this thread but I think the issues may be temporarily resolved. The smokeping page at OVH closely resembled the amount of packet loss I was seeing and the packet loss disappeared on March 22. OVH needs to look at this page http://smokeping.ovh.net/smokeping?target=USA.AS7018 You can click various providers on the left side. AT&T has over 10% packet loss but other US providers have 0.

I opened a ticket with AT&T and managed to get a hold of someone who identified as 'level 2 internet support'. He verified the same packet loss I observed with the OVH Roubaix FR IP I previously posted in this thread. We also discussed traceroutes and agreed that there are other networks between AT&T and OVH in Newark NJ, including possibly Level 3 (my hop 8 is 4.68.62.229). The Elysium IPs do not belong to AT&T however, so they decided there was nothing more they could do and my ticket was closed. I'll continue using VPN to circumvent the issue, but now I have to maintain a VPN subscription and enter 2FA code every time. Time to go watch some March Madness games and forget about this.

Not fixed. I logged in this morning and latency is in the red. I was looking at http://weathermap.ovh.net/#usa I don't think AT&T is listed, but nwk-1-a9 appears in my traceroute. It's listed on the right side in the large rectangular box with (currently) purple and blue arrows.

I think it's ok to say "I'm playing World of Warcraft on this IP hosted at OVH France and getting high latency or packet loss". I don't think AT&T needs to know what the Elysium Project is. I'm still having packet loss today. So I just ran a traceroute. What it shows is that AT&T routes packets to OVH in New Jersey (nj.us, the 192.99 IPs) who route it through Quebec Canada (qc.ca) and then to France (fr.eu). I'm on AT&T Uverse in the south central US and also had horrible latency yesterday. As a test, since you can't ping Elysium servers anymore, I found another IP hosted by OVH "Roubaix" and noticed high packet loss - up to 50%. Here is the command I use: ping -n 30 176.31.249.134 This morning it's a little better, only 10%, but still not acceptable. I should have also done a traceroute but did not. In the past, I have noticed similar packet loss to other sites in France and UK at the same time, so my guess is that AT&T is having an issue somewhere beween the US and Europe. So if it happens again check ping packet loss to other major .uk and .fr sites and report those to AT&T too. Here are some ideas that we as customers of AT&T can do: * Open a technical support ticket with AT&T, providing them the IP addresses of the logon server and also the IP of Anathema/Darrowshire/Elysium/Zethkur * Post on https://forums.att.com/ and if enough of us post there we may get noticed

A truly blizzlike server would assist in restoring characters

I'm trying this addon now. I received an LUA error with Chronometer installed because both addons use libs\Babble-Spell-2.2.lua. I had to change occurrences of 'Deep Wound' to 'Deep Wounds'. I'm also curious if anyone has tested this against Ragnaros on an Elysium realm. The knockback is supposed to be 25 seconds rather than 28 seconds, but I guess I'll find out soon.

If a patch doesn't work, why not roll back the patch, fix the issues on the development server and QA test realm, and then apply it again a few days later?
