1. Guild tax. We used this on feenix. 15g/member and week, paid to class leaders whom in turn handed it over to gbank. This is mainly what kept our tanks stocked with titans, nightfall axes, FR gear etc. 2. Gold bid. Have certain items dropped in raid handed out for gold instead of roll/dkp/what ever. We use this system in my current guild here. Onyxia bag is handed out by goldbid which is paid to gbank. often going for 100-200g per reset which pays for 1-2 titan flask/week. In addition we'll have some offspec, PVP items handed out by goldbid if it has no purpose for raiding, and noone wants to pay DKP for it. 3. Sell trashloot from MC. Cores, leathers, blood of the mountain, and ofcourse Sulfuron Ingots, these sell for 1-1.5k currently and are in high demand.

And then lets have Karazhan implemented (as it was suppose to be released in vanilla), and then dungeon finder with automatic teleport to start, and then LFR and then Flex and then...and then... Slippery slope.

tldr: It was good, but blizzard made them bad.

You remember incorrectly. - Yes, summon stones was arround in vanilla. - No, they wasnt called summoning stones but meeting stones in vanilla. - No, summoning did NOT work with the stones in vanilla. - Yes, blizzard had plans to introduce summoning with the stones in vanilla but this plan was delayed because of "reasons".

I dont know about that. Technically you arent "suppose" to mass-grab the buff by clicking at the same time. I'm not even sure you could do that in vanilla, maybe you could and blizzard turned a blind eye to it?

Personally I too tell all DPS to hold off at start of Hakkar. Most because I have trust issues.

In the Saturday night pugs on Horde side we sometimes have a warrior aoe-tank all the adds while the raid burn down the boss.

You wont be able to raid as Arms though since MS debuff takes up a debuff slot on bosses.

Resto druids Warlocks It is not uncommon for there to be only 1-2 druids in an entire 40man raid. EDIT: Dwarf priests for alliance is always in high demand due to fearward.

Access to lowbie instances that are only run when lvling up has zero impact on overall faction PvP balance.

I think the stacking part with TC was changed in TBC though to counter the fact that all tanks was still using TF way into BT.

I'm not sure. At its lowest it was downto 10% and at its highest it was 30% but I'm quite sure it was finally changed to 25%. I know for a fact that it's 25% currently in retail.
