Any details on this?
-
Actually it was due to a common bug on ManGoS-core that makes incoming damage to you not take player armor into account. Most private servers used to have the bug before.

As a human, Viskag+Brutality blade, no question about it.

[GUIDE] Fury Pre-Raid-BiS-List / Specs / Enchants(Updated to Patch 1.8)
Storfan replied to Mitycircin's topic in Warrior
No real reason actually. It just so happend to land above it. They are both basically equal with the main difference that the Sword is better for humans and the axe is better for orcs. -
No shit huh. TIL I guess.
-
How so? The shadowbolt from DB doesnt apply a buff, its simply a damage spell? or am I missing something? If that is the case then yes, Crul+Dooms would be better.
-
As an Orc (and horde) I'd go with DB in MH and Crul's in OH because WF scales very well with slow weapons. It is a tough choice though. Omakaronis sheet may give some better pointers. I dont know if he have a tested and confirmed proc for DB in the sheet though.

Elysium PVP - Breastplate of Bloodthirst worth it for fury?
Storfan replied to nemex's topic in Warrior
If you think an increase of 10ap and 7stam is worth 700g+, then sure. Yeaaaaah, No. I'd go for leather chest from BWL or mail chest from venoxis instead. Keep Ogreforged until you get one of these. -
The previous evidence for its proc-rate was always inconclusive and with no solid sources. I seem to recall someone found a post with archived proc tests from allhakazams comment sections through the waybackmachine that pointed to a 1PPM (4-5% procrate) which was the base for the fix both on Kronos (which also has this new fixed procrate) and later here on Elysium. Feenix always had it wrong at 10-20% which was REDICULOUSLY powerful. The idea from the WoWhead comments that the proc would clone a previous hit is preposterous and simply does not make sense. They way it was nerfed on retail is that they simply decreased its proc-rate for each lvl ast 60 you where, making it junk at lvl70. 4% proc-rate makes sense because that puts it at EXACTLY 1PPM. 60 seconds / 2.4 weaponspeed = 25 hits in 1 minute 100 percent / 25 hits = 4% proc-rate (1 PPM). And as always, PPM in vanilla does not include an internal CD, nor is it affected by flurry, haste, instant attacks etc.

Legacy Crusade: The Journey doesn't end here!
Storfan replied to Ash's topic in Official Information
Great news! Thank you for your work and dedication. Can we plis merge all vanilla servers into one aswell? kkthx -
Supposedly its confirmed to be working now. I have not been able to confirm because cba. Even without SA it'd be better than my other weapons.
-
I havnt really tested 2h fury in pre-raid gear but I think you'd be better off with Thrashblade MH and Frostbite OH instead of Unstoppable Force.
-
I would recommend going 1/3 cleave and 1/1 peircing holw instead. It's very nice to have in certain situations even in raids, one of them being Nefarian fight, both phase1 and sub 20% when adds come rushing the raid. http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#LbhxbIbZVVzVRxoVo 2h fury is competitive with several weapons. Sulfuras, Ashkandi, Dark Edge Of Insanity and ofcourse BRE. Personaly I only own the first two of these and in MC/BWL I will often be top5 on the DPS meters. As an orc my next objective is to get the Dark Edge.

For vael probably still alcors. For everything else, TF.

I dont know, you'd have to ask him.
-
No idea, never bothered to try it. I think the dwarvish is a fun touch:p
-
Is this confirmed on LIVE as in right now or confirmed on PTR?
-
Back when I did this I would typically charge 25g/hour or a set fee for the entire run, depending on the group and dungeon being run.
-
Indeed. I cringe at the thought of a guild giving Prestors to a fury if rogues/hunters still need it.
-
Not as human with Maladath.

Amagawd Wericia giving out state secrets. Sebbi will be disappoint:D EDIT: Jokes aside though. This is an AMAZING spec from a pure threat perspective and especially for a dedicated Vael-tank. Just look at that, suych amase! http://realmplayers.com/RaidStats/FightOverview.aspx?Raid=80372&Fight=1

What Wericia say is correct. PPM sets a solid percentage of proc-rate depending on your weapons speed and it is not affected by modifiers such as haste from enchants or flurry. Also important to note is that PPM in vanilla does NOT include an internal CD as that was later added with TBC. This means that haste will not increase nor decrease the chance of a proc occuring, however a higher grand total of hits in a given time period will also result in higher grand total of procs in that same time period. tldr: Haste has no effect on proc-chance, but it does mean more procs in a given time period due to more hits being made.
