Sounds about right. And about the last paragraph we have a saying within my line of work (IT): "Trust; But verify". Meaning you can absolutely trust guides to some extent, but trying stuff out on your own and verifying is always a good idea.

My theorycrafting is a little bit rusty and I dont have the attack table forumla right on hand, but I dont think it works that way. Crit cant push other possible outcomes off the attack table can it?

Most players, (even tanks whom I normaly hold in higher regard when it comes to theorycrafting) will blindly follow any guide regardless of changing circumstances and mechancs as long as they dont have to do any work themselves. I do not know if they do this because of my gear guide (It is quite possible) but I fear I have created a monster, and now that I dont hold ownership of the threads anymore I cant edit them. Personally I use Quel'Serrar because it's pretty and when threat is a non-issue and Ironfoe the rest of the time.

I havnt tested felstriker on this server as I dont have it but from what other warriors have told me its basically better than all pre-raid blues but worse than all raid-epics. When it comes to Ironfoe it's still VERY powerful and blast most competition out of the water (especially with worldbuffs). Wrong. Ironfoe, even in its nerfed 5%-proc-state is ALOT more powerful than dalrends-set, infact it rivals most BWL weapons. source: Have Ironfoe, tested alot, etc etc.

It actually peaked around 2k, dont you recall when they capped the server at 2k and we got 1h login-queues? This would probably havew been around early 2014. Not that it really matter now anyways, the server is long gone. EDIT: Also, daggers as fury. LOL. <3

Alcors is still not a good choice. The best threat weapon you can get is Ironfoe, it's FAR superior to anything else available to you currently. If you for some reason still want to use Alcors, go 15agi or Lifestealing. Crusader is indeed a terrible choice for a fast weapon.

The same can be said by pretty much anyone who partake in a premade. Horde premades do tend to loose against ally premades though even when using backdoor. Best I've managed is a 8min win but I've lost against ally premades in just 5min.

I did the exact same thing when I was farming my AQ-NR gear, luckily I got my helm after 20-or-so runs. I would either solo-tank and make sure to reserve it, or duo-tank and simply talk it thru with the other warriors of the raid, most where happy to pass on it in exchange of having a over-the-top geared tank carrying the raid.

What is your opinion of tanks selling tanking as a service then? I ask because this is my most efficient way of farming gold as prot. I'm currently full BiS geared from current content, the only item I still need is Geddon binding to complete TF. I tank alot of 5mans every day in exchange for payment, is this immoral? Considering the alternative is no run at all being done, people not getting their items, looking for a tank for hours in worldchat. I can only speak of my own personal experience but I'd say 99% of the attendees of my boost/carry-runs have been very satisfied with the quick and silk smooth clears I've been able to provide. I'm not sure if that's a poor attempt at sarcasm. I would argue that anyone wanting to set foot into any raid should atleast do the other attendees of the raid the courtesy of bringing fully enchanted pre-raid bis gear. So you're saying a full t2 tank, hosting a community PUG to MC every week with all the work and organization that it entails doesnt deserve Bindings more than a common pleb?

1. You are rage-capped if you got more rage than you can spend allowing you to SPAM heroicstrike forever. 2. The difference is that rage from incoming damage is now ALOT lower. Previously you'd be rage-capped almost constantly and this has been a common bug/error on many ManGoS-servers which resulted in tanks prefering daggers. 3. Who gives a shit even if its late. On feenix we had AQ delayed BY A FREAKING YEAR AND A HALF, That's right, fully BWL-bis geared guilds having to keep farming BWL for another 18 months:D It's a free server. Scripting is kinda good, population is solid, its not p2w. Just chill and enjoy the ride.

You're right, you dont "have" to be pre-raid bis to raid. However coming to raid in subpar lvl50 quest-reward green-trash is actually quite disrespectful for the other raid-attendees who will effectively be carrying this person, they are carrying their own weight as well as the trash-geared player. Imagine Having a setup of 4 freshly 60-dinged green-geared (including Maintank) in green lvl50 quest rewards, how far do you think that raid would get into MC? I'll tell you how - Not a single boss killed. Brining pre-raid bis and consumables is a courtesy towards your fellow raid-attendees. ^This sums it up pretty well. Agreed. People will call me out for having double standards but I dont mind. Reserving is "reserved" for classes/roles that actually bring something that is in low supply and high demand, that is Tanks and in some cases healers. On a personal note, when I was farming my Ironfoe I simply excluded fury warriors and rogue completely from my runs unless they specifically stated that they didnt want Ironfoe, it's basically a sneak way of reserving:) The work that goes into hosting a weekly MC pug is quite alot, much more so than a guild run. It's definitely okay for a Geared tank to reserve what ever shit he wants in these cases, especially Bindings.
