I'm entirely biased now but tanking is the most rewarding role in my eyes, but it also carries the most responsiblity by far as you are expected to know the tactics, set the pace of the instance/raid and a fuck-up on your part will more often than not result in a complete wipe. However, the benefits are that you'll be able to cherry-pick group members to your dungeon/raid, gear will rain ontop of your head and everyone is going to want to be your friend whether you like it or not as tanks as rare. Healing is also fun and also carries alot of responsibility (albeit not as much). If you plan to go alliance you should be dwarf priest (because fearward, you'll get invites lef-and-right) and if horde you should go druid (because rare class).

Screenshot it and open tickets. GMs got enough work as it is and they DO require help to catch all spammers. The biggest problem is most people wont take the time to screenshot and report (that includes myself, im a lazy bum).

The general rule of thumb regarding addons is this: If it can be done within the games API without out-side script interactions or mechanical automation its A-Okay. But dont take my word for it.

I believe they are already using this? Aswell as Cloudflare reverse-proxy for some sort of load-balancing? But I guess all suggestions are probably welcome if it can help.

bUMPEROO. Still need 2-3 healers, preferably Priests/Shamans. All exceptional players are welcome to apply though!

The most underrated healer item

I never claimed I was tryhard on my druid alt. I barely raid on it. As a sidenote, I've recently gone 24/0/27 spec and mana is never any issue anymore. -
The most underrated healer item

Well said. I actually have this item on my druid. I used it for a tiny bit but soon realised it was more a hassle than its worth. In the end, if I go OOM and have manpots on CD I'll just innervate myself (yes, to the dismay of the disgruntled priests). Thread TLDR: Underrated healer item? - Sure. The most underrated healer item? - Nah. -
As the topic states. I'm selling tanking service, prices vary and are negotiable. Payment in gold, un-needed item drops, arcanite bars, enchanting mats or what ever else you have to offer. I will tank any 5man dungeon, ubrs or even ZG/Ony for your guild. The runs will be smooth and swift, I am fully t2 geared/BiS+AoE gear with the exception for TF. Contact me on my main warrior Storfan or my alt druid Lichln.

As the topic states. I want to buy sulfuron ingots. I am in need of 6 ingots total, would be nice to buy them for a bulk price if possible. I am also willing to tank dungeons and/or smaller raids like ZG/Ony for your guild in exchange for a lower price on ingots should anyone be interested. Contact me on my main warrior Storfan or on my alt druid Lichln. EDIT #1: Still need 3x Ingots. EDIT #2: Still need 2x ingots. EDIT #3: Still need 1x ingot EDIT #4: Got all that I need.

What Adeline said. Drakes and also Chromaggus are pretty good stationiary fights where threat is of little concern if you want to compare rogues to furies. Over all fury warriors IS the best DPS class in all vanilla-content (with some exceptions ofcourse).
-
I would just like to point out that LazyPig already has this funtion built-in.
-
There are onyxia pugs literally every day.
-
Thank you for your hard and dedicated work!

Believe it or not but I've had bad luck on DB, the ones that have dropped have been given to furies first (for obvious reason) and Crulshorukh simply has refused to drop. Also, DB is kinda ugly. I detest ugly.

The roots you have stockpiled will disappear once you log off. I tried this on my druid. -
Get professions and/or lvl up a mage or hunter for farming.

1. Dont level as protection. Trust me on this, it will only result in tears. I have leveled and geared up 4 warriors to 60, once in retail vanilla and three times on various private vanilla-projects, I've tried it all. If you for some reason still want to level as prot it only gets (sort-of-okay-ish) at 40 when you can get shieldslam. 2. Revenge doesnt produce much damage, mostly just threat which is wasted when questing. Save that rage for other abilities, (or better yet, dont lvl as prot). Revenge is great though when doing 5mans combined with sunder. 3. Rend is actually pretty good all the way to lvl40 once you get your 40-talent (assuming you've spent all talents in same tree to that point). You should always be using Rend until you get Bloodthirst, Mortalstrike or Shieldslam. 4. You should be leveling as 2h-fury (yes, 2h, not dualwield).
-
It shouldnt be hard to replicate, even outside of a raid. Just invite a friend to group, start casting tranquility and have your friend run out of the area.
-
Hybrid tanks are kinda shit in vanilla. It's not worth it. You can easily be 3rd or 4th OT as full fury (not arms, because its shit for raids). As 4th-or-so OT you'll mostly be tanking trash from time to time anyways so no need for any prot talents at all.

Molten Core lockout reset by last "hotfix/patch". - Legal to do again?
Storfan posted a topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
As the title states. We are several in guild that notice that our Molten Core raid lockout from Wednesday has reset due to last nights Hotfix/patch? I know that when this happend once before GMs went out and officially declared it to be "LEGAL" to do it again, is that also the case this time? -
In retail vanilla it was working for melees up to AQ40 patch when it was "fixed". On old nost they had it "pre-fixed" from the start meaning no melee hit was added by using it. Now with elysiums own core I cannot say as I have not tested it.

It's a hardknock life indeed. Cant even use my pretty QS other than for dress-up. Gotta use that ugly-ass Ironfoe for serious raiding.
-
Horde or alliance? Assuming horde due to axes?
-
Bad from a threat standpoint absolutely because no tank would be able to keep up with your threat unless he also have TF. The rage-dump and kitten-WWs doesnt matter though from a DPS standpoint as the insanely high proc-rate it will have in your MH will make up for it. There really is no weapon in vanilla that can compete for MH dps, even in naxx.

Posting in here so I can find the thread once I get home from work.
