That is actually very possible. The database snapshot they used for the character migration was one or a few days before shutdown announcement, I lost some healing shoulders on my druid because of it.

You shouldnt use same account name and/or password ANYWHERE on the internet, least of all on other private server projects like feenix, kronos, warmane, etc. This is most likely how you got hacked. 2. That is correct. There are ways to aleviate pressure and to combat it but there are indeed no 100% safeguards.

Personally, even though I really enjoyed most of TBC, vanilla is simply better in all regards. Also I cleared all content in original TBC while I never completed all of vanilla. I simply wont transfer untill I have Naxx cleared, im an autist completionist in that way.

If we add the proc damage with a 20% proc-rate we get: ((300x0.2)/1.9) = 31.6 dps to add ontop. (I cant be arsed calculating with the lowered nature res debuff).

A possible scenario is not having transfers vanilla->tbc but instead copy vanilla->tbc, that way people could play with their characters on both servers, keeping both communities alive.

Lets not forget that "Full" servers in vanilla was 2-3k pop.
