Reporting Alliance AV Exploiting Bug
Storfan replied to lutfee's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
It really isnt the same thing. I'm not going to delve into why because it is so obvious, but I suspect you know this aswell. I smell butthurt. -
Neither are worth it really, unless gold is no problem. I am of the opinion that every single aspiring tank should get Quel'Serrar because it will last you to Naxx (depending on look-luck), unless you manage to get Broodlords Defender from ZG. EDIT: There is no updated list, no.
-
I compiled that list on Nostalrius forum previously, way before rage was fixed. It is no longer up to date and the guy who re-posted it here doesnt seem to update it.
-
Probably against the rules, or at the very least against the spirit of the game.
-
Lets get a couple of things straight: 1. Technically speed doesnt matter, rage generation in proportional to the weapons basedmg/speed=dps. So no, a faster weapon will not yield you "more aggro and more rage". 2. Previously most endgame-tanks would be using Finkles or Alcors, not because they "generated more rage" (because they didnt) but because rage from incoming damage was bugged allowing you to SPAM heroic strike and since heroic strike threat scales VERY well with faster weapons it made daggers INCREDIBLY powerful for threat generation. 3. With rage from damage fixed, weapon speed doesnt really matter. Infact, due to the nature of WF-totem horde tanks should actually be going for slower weapons now, while alliance tanks can do what ever they want. A medium speed weapon like Quel'Serrar is actually quite good.

I actually believe that item was specifically mentioned as working in a patch a few weeks ago.
-
Problably because repeat-offenders would take up ALOT of GM time that could be better spent helping non-cheaters.

Can I get banned if some trade me gold?
Storfan replied to lamers's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I'm going to play the devils advocate here. What if I sell a Lionheart helm to someone whom themselves have bought gold, and then pay for the helm with said gold? -
This is false. They CAN detect it with Warden that checks .mpq files locally in your client.
-
No person has ever been arrested for playing on a private server. Not. A. Single. Person. It will never ever happen.
-
If it's not working as intended, this post belongs in bug-reports and not in suggestions.

Reputation names and Instance names in atlas says "..."
Storfan replied to Vaskedama's topic in Help & Support
Classic PEBKAC. u don goof'd in your game files. Dont do that. -
No weapon procs in WoW are done by PPM, only trinket procs and (some) enchant procs whose proc-rate will vary depending on weapon speed. When you need to know to get the math correct is the total number of hits and total amount of procs. Also the method use is very important. You cant use dualwield for example.

You WILL be banned and it will NOT be overturned under ANY circumstances.

Addon to see how much memory addons are taking?
Storfan replied to Discodolphin's topic in UI, AddOns & Macros
Doesnt the performance function in titanbar track addon memory usage? -
Onebag and Onebank. Works flawlessly.
-
The Procwatch-addon got a PPM-function that will take into account overlapping procs. Crusader is 1 PPM with a duration of 15sec 15/60=0,25 25% uptime x 100str = avg of 25str or 50 constant AP. Important to note is that while Crusader got a 1PPM, internals CDs was not "a thing" in vanilla meaning Crusader ACTUAL uptime will go up with a slower weapon and WF-totem and other modifiers.
-
How was this test conducted? Viskag+shield? What abilities were used? What addon was used to test the proc-rate? Do you have a screenshot of the proc-data? If we assume that the 5% proc-rate is correct, some quick napkin math will yield us this: ((240 x 0.05)/2.6) = 4,615384615384615 DPS Basically 4.61 DPS added ontop of the base DPS of 55.2 making Viskag 59,61 DPS
-
I would take Cruls over Brutality for OH because of the 12dps difference. Also, since you use edgemasters you'll get past 310 skill meaning some diminishing returns starts to set in on weapon skill. Whether Viskag or CTS is best for MH I cannot say, It would depend on the proc-rate of Viskag which I havnt tested myself.

Ironfoe was nerfed on Elysium prior to the merge with Nostalrius. The Nerf (Actually a blizzlike-fix) had been carried over to Nostalrius aswell. On Nostalrius it was exactly 10% before. 60/1020=0,0588235294117647 = 5.8% proc chance. EDIT: Clarification. The test was carried out during a Full MC-clear with only Ironfoe used the entire run.
-
For humans. 1: TF+GM 1h sword. 2. Dual GM 1h swords. 3: Viskag+CTS 4: CTS+Crulshorukh 5: CTS+Brutality Blade. EDIT: Personally I'd go with CTS+Crulshorukh because stamina adds to survivability. After all, a dead damage dealer, deals no damage.

[GUIDE] Fury Pre-Raid-BiS-List / Specs / Enchants(Updated to Patch 1.8)
Storfan replied to Mitycircin's topic in Warrior
Burst damage is of no interest what so ever. All that matters is sustained DPS over time. Also, there's no proc-rate data on destiny unless someone had run it thru proc-watch during the right conditions and correct methodology. -
You'll probably have to settle for less gold the worse your gear is.
