Every single item ever looted will get updated, not just items looted after patch. There are armor-kits made my LW but those arent used by anyone in vanilla because they are shit. Tanks should enchant stamina, stats, agility or in some cases +3 def armor-kits on their gear. Dagger tanking isnt a thing anymore due to rage-revamp, you are better off with a slow weapon for most fights except for Vaelstrasz.

Not having everything laid out on a platter is part of the vanilla experience. Also, any serious guild that is raiding naxx still still be going MC for certain items that are never replaced in vanilla.

Hacks arent done by brute force but by using same account information on different servers that at some point WILL get sold or leaked to hackers. If you activate 2-factor authentication that is now available this makes hacking pretty much impossible.

Managing your community reputation is a MAJOR factor in an MMORPG, especially vanilla-wow. If you allowed name change, this would make that factor moot. Bad idea. No, do not allow this EVER.

Resist-cap for all schools is 315, you will need 245 FR from gear and the rest from buffs to reach 315. Ragnaros is the hardest boss in terms of FR-capping. He can be tanked with 180+ FR from gear alone with varying success but I would definitely recommend that you try to reach 245 FR from gear. Once you get epic gear such as T1 and T2 they will themselves have some FR on it and you will be able to downscale your FR. I normaly tank rag with 5/8 T2 and the rest is a mix of regular gear and FR gear with FR enchants/rings. Please note that technically you only really need 2x Tanks with FR gear for MC, rest can go completely without but it helps to have some FR gear on all tanks on fights like Magmadar, Geddon, Trashmobs if only to ease the burder on healers whom have to focus on Melee. You probably had the same account name and password on Feenix, Kronos or some other private server that got their database sold or hacked.

Ironfoe proc-formula has to be adjusted for the nerf to 5%, it is very easy to do by yourself though.

Beware of player by the name: "Deadmanwalks". He will scam you out of your materials and stiff you on your payments. Put him on IGNORE and save yourself the gold and embarassment. What went down is I provided mats for enchanting unholy weapon worth about 20-25g and I was promised an additional fee of 25g, everything totaling at 50g. This was to be paid by his main (stupid of me, I now realise). I have no video to provide of this scam, (Hard to provide after the fact). All I have is my reputation as a long standing member of this community and I hope that this enough will get you all to avoid this foul knave.

7 stamina is your best bet because 2% Block only works against physical damage.

Get the addon called spamthrottle. it blocks 99% of the spam. I havnt had a whisper in weeks.

Correct. It does this by using a list of known gold-selling sites and automatically blocking those messeges that contain them, it also triggers of several key-words and sentences used by gold-seller spam. There is ofcourse the very small risk of false negatives, but simply saying the word "gold" wont flag you in the addon so you can rest easy. I've been using this for a few days now and the spam is NOTICIBLY less (although not 100% gone).

With raidbuffs and worldbuffs you'll do fine rage-wise even with 10% hit really. I'd take draketalon over UBRS-leather ones in every situation unless I go bellow yellow-cap. EDIT: Also, draketalon looks badass:)

I dont know about the EJ-post but the methodology used in the allhakazam post was pretty solid and did seem like a credible source. Allhakazam comment post on Ironfoe.

I have no idea of the proc-rate on Felstriker as I dont have it. Generally, you'd best avoid proc-based items on your offhand due to the lower proc-rate in offhand.

As I said, this was a copy-paste from Nostalrius forum. On nostalrius Viskag had a very high proc-rate if I recall correctly making is VERY OP.

Actually, the archived post of the performed test from Allhakazam was pretty extensive (especially for its day) and since there's no other evidence to go by I would say it's a pretty good and credible source. I believe the conclusion of the test was that the proc-rate seemed to be tuned to somewhere between 3-5% (3% would be a pretty odd number so I assume 5% is the correct one).

Yeah, as I said above. Ironfoe was VERY OP before the nerf and is still VERY powerful, just not "over the top" like it used to. It's definitely still comparable to most MC/BWL weapons.
