[DISREGARD THIS THREAD, PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED PROBABLY DUE TO SERVER RESTART) Background: I had two accounts (Elysium and Nostalrius) with the EXACT same account-name, EXACT same character-name and registered to the EXACT same e-mail account. Problem: Unable to recieve in-game mail, error: ("Target not part of your alliance") and now ("Unable to find recipient") Probable cause: My lvl5 warrior character was not flagged for name-change when got to log-in screen despite it having the EXACT same name as my lvl60 Nostalrius character, this ment that when a player try to mail me something (including from my own alts from the same account) they would be met by the error saying "Target not part of your alliance" so it was probably trying to mail to the lvl5 alliance character. Continuation: So, I deleted the lvl5 character completely. Now instead, when every any player try to mail my character they instead get an error saying "Unable to find recipient". However, I am able to post auctions on AH and recieve payments from those auctions. TLDR: ingame mail broken because of conflicting character names (probably?). EDIT: Not sure if it matters, lowbie character might have been higher lvl than 5, somewhere between 5-10.

@Wetpine I wasnt making a statement whether it was right or wrong to do the change to DM-mobs. I was refer to the fact that people here are actingas if they are paying customers. Which they arent.

Why not just accept the fact that this is a free-of-charge server. You are not a paying customer. The provide this experience to us out of their own free time as a hobby and we play on this server by their good grace. You can suggest changes and improvements, but pushing it like this is simply rude towards the people that work so hard, and for free to provide us with this server. TLDR: Dont bite the hand that feeds.

Did you wait an hours? There is a 1h delay on mail sent between accounts. If both are in the same account it should be instantly sent though.

I use the same philosophy regarding what to enchant my weapon with. After testing with both Crusader and 15agi on my Quel'Serrar along with some basic math I found the approximate break-even point to be around 2.0 speed aswell so I always go Crusader on 2.0 and slower, or 15agi and/or Lifestealing on 1.9 and faster. Currently I'm using: Quel'Serrar - Crusader Broodlords Defender - 15agi Alcor's Sunrazor - Lifestealing Ironfoe - Lifestealing (due to the nature of its proc).

I agree with Elviss on all points, with the slight modification that Flask of Titans for tanks is (almost) required for higher raiding (BWL, onward) atleast when progressing but not farming. Normaly guildbank provide Flask of Titans to MT and maybe 1-2 OTs. EDIT: As for credentials, I say this as an MT and occational Raidleader.

One of the reasons private-server projects "get away" with hosting private servers and not being bothered by blizzard is the fact that they arent "officially" providing the players with a game-client. If the game-client was patched in a manner to accomodate this FOV-fix and if it was done and sanctioned by the server-host, it could (potentially) open them up further to legal ramifications. This is the way I've understood it atleast. TLDR: Not officially providing a modified client provides a legal loop-hole to host private servers.

I've always had this bug on Nostalrius aswell. I always have to /leave world, /join world every time I log in. I think the problem is related to the chat-addon called "Prat" but I simply havent been bothered to test it. Do you use Prat aswell?

1700 i WAY to high even for Australia. If you've been having this kind of latency constantly since server release it's mostly likely something wrong on your end and/or at your ISP. Latency spikes isnt unheard of though due to the MASSIVE population of the server as well as constant DDoS-attacks. I play with an average of 40-80ms (Sweden and 100/100mbit/s). Australia should under ideal conditions have around 150-300ms probably. Try installing leatrix latency-fix, this changes the way network packages related to WoW from TCP to UDP meaning alot less overhead and potentially halving your latency under ideal conditions. Ironfoe was not bugged in that way, however it did have a too-high proc-rate that made it OP. I always used it for tanking onyxia because she hits like a newborn kitten and rage was a big concern. If the Ironfoe fix that was implemented on elysium carries over to Nostalrius, then it's proc-rate will go from 10% to around 3%.

I'll probably switch to use Ironfoe and Quel'serrar over my Alcors. Also, I do believe the patchnotes mentioned WF-totem being fixed meaning Horde-tanks with slow weapons will atleast get that. Crul'shorukh isnt a bad choice for a horde-tank.

Protection warrior because every single tier-piece is useful. This isnt the case with many other classes.
