Druids are "sort-of" like that I guess. They got several healing spells that puts a ticking heal (HoT) that will heal your target once every second for 10-20 seconds. EDIT: And yes, druids can solo-heal all 5man dungeons from lvl1-60 in any spec.

Dwarf-priest if alliance due to Fearward being heavily sought-after by ALL raids. EDIT: Priest-gear looks kinda booring though, appart for that healing staff. EDIT #2: It should be noted that I'm probably biased because my alt is a resto-druid and I'm loving it!

Resto druid. Least played class, very under-estimated and can perform very well if played right, you will also be gauranteed a spot in all raids and loot will rain ontop of your head.

Assuming the follow the same fixes that was done to Nostalrius then atleast yes for the Alcors. It was BoP until patch 1.9 in vanilla and it was changed to BoP on Nostalrius not long before the shutdown.

isnt threat multiplier from healing 0.5? Meaning the threat caused is half of the amount healed?

I was only refering to guild member-cap, not server population cap which is a whole other situation. Server-caps in vanilla was due to constraints on hardware and software that we dont have anymore. I think guild member-cap was to make guilds more managable. I want a huge population.

Quality > Quantity. Also lets not forget. If it aint blizzlike, then it aint for us.

Maybe im dull or maybe your systems is simply too complex but I couldnt find any answer to this: The main problems that often has to be adressed with DKP-systems are these: 1. Will there be any class/role restrictions on certain items? Would a hunter be able to grab a [Drake Fang Talisman] over Rogues/furies? Will a fury warrior be able to grab an [Elementium Reinforced Bulwark] over a tank? If yes = Bad. 2. What is players stares themselves blind on one perticular upgrade and thus discard any other upgrades in order to save up DKP? On a personal note, I find that Lootcouncil, or a mix of DKP+Lootcouncil often tend to work out best.

It would be very interesting to see your tests of lifestealing. In my own tests came to the conclusion that Lifestealing was pretty good for TPS but I'm not really a hardcore theorycrafter. If anything I'm just an enthusiast.

Being loot-police takes up ALOT of GM-time and resourses and it will be detrimental to other parts of the game where GM-time is better spent helping. The community will have to be their own police. People will have to cater to their own reputation.

I actually think it would. MANY old players are willing to return to WoW and pay for it if they do legacy realms (including myself). I think it's more of a pride-thing. If they open legacy-realms, it's like admitting there's "something wrong" with current retail, and their ego cant handle that.
