People today are more competent when to comes to gearing, min-maxing, talent-spec and in general DPS. Combine this with the fact that they are LESS competent when it comes to watching their threat (Thank retail for this) and you've got a perfect storm. Also, people tend to not use CC as much now as they did back then. Tanking is harder in vanilla today than in vanilla 2005 because of this.

Most guilds dont really have the luxury to have a band of accuria as a "swap-ring" though, which is why I maintain my position that only a moronic loot council would award a band of accuria to a fury warrior. Band of Accuria for tanks. Period.

Because certain outcomes of the hit-table cannot be pushed off the hit-table with other outcomes. Getting 100% crit would be impossible because boss still have a set chance to dodge your attacks regardless of your 100% crit and you cant go past 100% of all possible outcomes. Worth noting is also that Glancing will always count for 40% of your white hits, although the glancing penalty can be reduced to 0% with weapon skill, it still cant be pushed off the table and a glancing can never crit but simply becomes a "regular" white hit without the penalty. I dont have the hit-table fresh in my head but you can probably find it by googling "Hiddehs fury guide" as he goes into great detail about this.

The way I've been doing it is with this setup: Healer: T2 priest Tank/DPS #1: Me, 2h fury with BWL-gear and Sulfuras Tank/DPS #2: DW-fury warrior with AQ gear. Tank/DPS #3: (Any random DPS) DPS #4: Enchancement shaman with Sulfuras and WF. We clear in about 20-30mins. One of the warriors will have to use a shield for Balnazzar though since he hits like a freight train on steroids.

In vanilla Shieldslam and shieldbash actually triggered TF proc. I do not know Blizzard reasoning for this as it does seem incorrect from a logical standpoint. Also, I do not know if that is how it is here as I dont have TF myself. I do have TF on retail but cba testing.

Warrior instant abilities does not replace or affect automatic white swings. There are however 2 exceptions: HS - Replaces your white auto attack with a yellow. Slam - stops swingtimer. (Noone uses this anyways).

You do realise this isnt a commercial enterprise? The GMs are doing their work as a hobby and are not compensated with wages as blizzard GMs are. This means that time is severely limited and they will have to rely of player reports, even if many bots indeed are very obviously bots and anyone with half a brain could spot one.

This is incorrect. While it is true that the proc may be on a PPM table, it is not restricted by an internal CD to "assure" a maximum amount of procs in a set timeframe, this was indeed a TBC-thing as Undertaker describes it bellow. This means that Thunderfury can proc alot more than the PPM-states because it can proc off of instant attacks that arent included in the PPM. The same applies to enchants such as Crusader. Crusader will have a 1PPM if only auto-hitting, but this will go up because instant attacks will trigger the proc. That is correct. Killerduki makes an incorrect assumption though that paladins will get more procs because of this. TF will proc from warrior instant attacks aswell (or atleast it should), I guess you should be able to confirm or deny this since you have one yourself.

If you truly wish to compete for top DPS and theorycrafting matters alot to you, then human is mandatory. If not, play which ever race you want.

Using Band of Accuria as a MC/BWL geared fury warrior makes no sense at all. The power of +hit drops drastically after 9%. Basically, extra hit after 9% isnt bad per se, but you should never skip AP/crit for extra hit past the 9%-mark. A BWL-raiding fury warrior should be using two of the following rings: QSR, Nef Ring and/or Donjulios. The loot priority order for Band of Accuria should look like this: Prot warriors > Rogues > Hunters > Fury warriors. Hit is harder to come by for a protection warrior and this offers EXCELLENT itemization of that purpose. The extra threat the tank produces will allow your raid to output more damage to the target. Rogues second because it's a good ring, but its not vital for their setup as they still have Donjulios and Nef ring. Hunters third because hunters simply dont need more than 5% hit which is easy to get from other pieces. Furies last because of above stated reasons. TLDR: Band of Accuria should never ever under any curcumstances be given to a fury warrior.

Unyielding maul is for Beartanks. There's no such thing as "2h warrior tanking". However, with BWL/PVP/AQ gear and an equally geared and skilled healer you can indeed 2h tank most 5man trash and bosses (with a fre exceptions). I do this myself as a means to farm Strat-living for orbs but we're all bwl geared and above in those runs. tldr: forget about it.

Do you use some sort of mailing addon? The first step in this sort of troubleshooting is to disable any addon related to the task you are unable to perform. The next step is to disable ALL addons. The third step is to make a bug report. Which ever step you're at, this thread doesnt belong in this section.

At this point, my guild has learnt that brute forcing him is faster and easier than clearing the room really.

Here's a crazy idea. Use normal fire protection potion instead.

What does an RP addon actually do? I thought the main thing about RPers was playing the game pure without any addons?
