Russians aren't shy about ninja looting. They usually just stay silent and roll need on everything. If you try talking to them or address the fact - they just ignore you like they have no idea what's going on. I'm hesitant to group with them at all, I give them one strike per run. If they roll need on more than 1 thing that they don't need I give the group leader the option to boot them or I will respectfully exit the group right then and there. It happens WAY too often with Russian players, I honestly think it's just the way they were raised, so many do this I have to assume it's just how their brains work. Which doesn't make it ok.

Quick question. I'm a level 30 frost mage, I'm currently wearing the Azure frost set, how long will this be the optimal gear to be wearing?
-
I've only been having this issue for the past few days, but it's been constant since then. I check my friends list and it's completely blank. If I add a new friend (just a random person, who I then immediately remove), the list reappears. But I have to do this every time I log in the game. Any ideas on what might be going on here?

Are you going to play on Elysium TBC realm? (poll)

TBC > Blizzard's Classic -
The widely parroted "weclome to vanilla" defense is a flimsy one. In retail vanilla you didn't have this high of a population on the server. It wasn't possible for the enemy faction to control every single one of your towns and fp. Though it wears the skin of the vanilla experience, the population difference makes it anything but vanilla. The game experience is crippled right now and until some of the virgins can release some of their frustration in battlegrounds I fear this is just how things are going to be.

I'm in the lower 20 levels. Regular questing is out of the question now. I strictly do dungeons and fish in SW. Everything else will result in endless cycle of corpse running. It is what it is, but I'm not going to bother attempting anything else until BGs come out.

I have a level 31 Druid, level 22 Mage on Alliance side and level 14 Shaman on Horde. (Focusing on Mage from here on out.)

"IF" you're caught. I say again, their system can't detect bots, (even with the help of the community reporting these bots) No one is going to report you for something they don't know - and they can't tell that you are using the new models. I really don't think there is anything to worry about.

I use them off and on depending on my mood, it's as simple as moving one file in and out of a folder. The way I see it is their system hasn't been able to detect blatant bots in the starting areas, I'm not worried about it picking up model change. Life is more fun with a little danger in it anyways. I say if you like the new models go for it, worst thing that can happen is you make a new account.

Can't /say til level 7, can't speak or whisper at all?
Halos replied to Halos's topic in Help & Support
I could've sworn I saw a level 4 thank me (not /thank, but actually typed "thanks") in game. I was unable to reply like a human being so I just /welcome back to him. -
For some reason I'm unable to speak at all in game. Like I can't even use the localized white font talk. I get a message that says I can't /say until level 7. I can't whisper at all. I don't remember this ever being a feature before. I am using a couple addons. Questie and MrRolePlay, that's it. Not sure if it's a conflict with those, but I've used them in the past without issue. Any ideas?

I've been out of the private server community for a bit, I'm curious as to what RP addons you use. I remember using FlagRSP and MyRoleplay (or something like that). I'm looking to RP with some of you. You can find my toon on the Alliance side named "Ghosthaven"

I must be one of the few people who didn't have much luck with the stress test. Inbetween "disconnect" screens I managed to run from Mulgore to Deso just to get disconnected. By the time I could get back into the game the 5 minute server warning popped up. When I could play my ping would bounce between 140ms and 1300ms. I don't think it was a DNS issue on my end because I've played on Elysium (and every other private server) without this kind of "disconnect" issue. So yea, it was a pretty frustrating experience.

Same problem here. I was getting the disconnect screen over and over, then I finally got it, played for 20 mins got d/c'd and now I cant get back in. I never changed any DNS stuff, I'm not familiar with it so I'm not about to go messing up my internet settings. I've played on this server before without having to change anything, so I'm thinking the disconnect issue is just from the server choking on the population.
