They're not ignoring the issue. You're even saying that there are multiple people getting their accounts "hacked" and either gold, items or both together stolen. Unfortunately you ignore the fact that they're all volunteers. They provide the server and support in the freetime they actually have. They can't look through every compromised account and restore every deleted item, gold amount or character. Simply because they don't have the time to do this and also because they already said multiple times that they won't do it. If you think your gold is only missing because it "must be" a server issue, then make an ingame ticket and let the staff look through your transaction logs. They can easily tell if it was an actual hack or if it was you buying something that you just forgot.

Unfortunately its true that the responsibility for account security is on the players end. You can't push them to have better security, they have a top notch security. They even offer you a 2FA now as first private server ever (at least from what I know they're the first).

Unfortunately there is no way to recover lost items or gold. Account security is your responsibility and luckily for you only the gold was stolen.

If you prevent the automatic AFK tag by a macro, tool or something else that is there to prevent AFK without you being on the keyboard its considered botting and thus you're breaking the rules. So, again. Any forms of botting result usually in a permanent ban of the involved accounts. Being afk at the char selection is totally fine, they might add a timer for a kick there too tho.

Any forms of botting, this includes any form of AFK prevention, results in a permanent ban. Don't try to avoid AFK with anything, it counts as botting (obviously only when you're actually not on your PC and preventing it yourself with moving/jumping). FYI botting is a permanent ban, even anti-afk botting is usually a perma ban..

The difference is the progress in the timeline. Nostalrius PvP is on patch 1.8, AQ has to be released still. Elysium PvP just released last saturday, so its technically on 1.2

They don't take money for anything. The only money they accept are donations to keep the servers up. They won't restore the character.
