"Appealing" is pointless - You wont be unbanned
Nelythia replied to Acebentura's topic in Help & Support
First, there is no need to rant about your ban. Yes, you are angry for a reason. Especially if you're actually innocent. Usually the staff is very competent and careful with banning players and reviewing the bans once an appeal is opened. Still there could be a mistake, which would justify another thread/appeal, but not with that approach. If you want to get another appeal, because you haven't bought or sold gold, then make it in the proper way. Post your appeal into https://forum.elysium-project.org/forum/351-ban-appeals/ Stay neutral/friendly, give every bit of information you can give as how you think the system or a GM would have decided to ban you (recent transactions that could've triggered an auto ban or smth), etc. -
You need to extract it in your interface/addons folder. For example (this is the path for my PC) C:\World of Warcraft 1.12\Interface\AddOns
-
http://addons.us.to/addon/questie
-
You need to log out of your account/control panel
-
You should ask that in the proper thread of the addon you use. I'd assume you use questie. I personally have never used it, but from what I heard you just need to open the map to see where you need to go.
-
If you click that link they ask you to enter your email as well as username (probably accountname in this case). After you did that, you have to verify the captcha and press "Send". Then they will send you an email for you to reset your password.

Quest has been working on PvE server since relaunch, but I remember it was bugged on the pvp already before nost shutdown. A bit weird that it works on PvE but not on PvP tho ^^
-
You have to make your thread in the proper section. https://forum.elysium-project.org/forum/351-ban-appeals/

For ingame assistance you have to create an ingame ticket. Press the red "?" in your micro bar "Issues that GMs can assist with" "Stuck" (here you could try Auto-Unstuck) "Still not working, page a GM" (if Auto-Unstuck didn't help) GM's sometimes read and help in the forums without being able to log in. To get proper help for ingame issues, always make an ingame ticket.
-
You should check other warlock trainers first. If you still can't find it, check if there is a bug report on the bug tracker: https://elysium-project.org/bugtracker/ If there is no report, try to make an ingame ticket first. The GM's can find out where in a quest chain you are stuck. If they tell you that it seems like a bug, file a report in the bug tracker.

Had a problem transfering my character from nost to my new elysium account. Can anyone help?
Nelythia replied to LonelyPixL's topic in Help & Support
Are you sure you have transfered the correct account? A few people with similar problems were sure they had transfered the correct account but a few hours after remembered that it was the wrong account after all. -
You don't need to worry while playing with a different IP on your account. One of my guildmates has a lot of business trips and thus a lot of different IP's. So far he never got into trouble on nost or elysium.

is there a way to restore deleted/vendored items?
Nelythia replied to Secrit's topic in Help & Support
From the Terms of Use -
The staff does not recover deleted characters. Also, if you deleted the character on former Nostalrius, there is no way to get it back anyways :l Edit: You should remove the account information.
-
Unfortunately there is no way to delete your account or change the email associated with your account.

Question regarding 2 people playing on the same IP
Nelythia replied to Dranthos's topic in Help & Support
Hi! This question gets asked quite regularly and this is a legitimate question. You and your brother are safe to play from the same internet connection. GM's can tell the difference between players being multiple persons or the same person. As long as you are actually 2 players on playing one character each you don't need to worry. If one of you has to go AFK for a few minutes, or longer, please try to not use /follow on each other, rather log one character out and wait for the person that went AFK to come back. If an investigation happens, the excuse "I play with XYZ who is currently AFK" won't help :/ -
What is so hard on understanding what he told you. GM's are free to reply to threads as they like, but the given policy is to go from the older pages to the new pages. If a GM is like "hey, I can answer that thread/question/request immediately without using much of my time", then he is allowed to do so. Once again, depending on your ban, situation, request, appeal, ... they need a longer time to investigate it properly, especially because GM's do not have the powers to do so for every ban reason. There is a lot of stuff that has to be reviewed by higher ups, not by normal GM's. You got lucky with your thread response with your bump, but this is not the usual way. Any bump will push you further down the line, everytime. Except the situation above happens. The staff has also very good detection systems, for gold buying, cheats and more bad stuff you can do as a player. There are false positives in their systems, this is natural. There are also ban mistakes from GM's, this is human. Just create an appeal, be patient and wait for a proper answer from a staff member. Going on and on the whole time while even being aggressive in each of your posts won't help you at all. If you want another review, which is highly unlikely but not impossible in general, then send a PM to one of the higher up GM's or create another appeal in a few days with more information, how you see the situation and would think the ban has happened.

just ip ban those gold sellers
Nelythia replied to koseku's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
This is not how it works. -
If you encounter possible bugs, make sure to check the bugtracker on the elysium website. If you can't find the bug you seem to have found, try to abandon the quest and to do it once more, before submitting it to the bugtracker if it still doesn't work.
-
If your character is below level 7 you are not able to whisper or chat in public channels. Exception is the guild channel (only one I know). Edit: Actually after reading it again, you might encounter that "You have to wait 60 seconds before speaking again" which is a recent bug. After these 60 seconds it should work.

If you have an open ban appeal in the appropriate subforum, they'll answer you why your account has been banned and if the ban is confirmed or not. "Not-confirmed" basically means that one of the protection systems banned you, they are pretty accurate but there are mistakes in such systems too. Autobans are reviewed everytime, to make sure the system did not ban you by mistake. Also the 1 month expiration is about the ban date. If you don't create an appeal within 30 days of your ban they'll most likely ignore the appeal. Edit 2: Usually bumping your own appeal threads doesn't help, as said above. But if no GM responded to you after 8-14 days I would suggest to bump it once.
-
First: If they can reply immediately, they will do it. I have answered threads that were 5 minutes old too while 3 days or older threads were still open. It depends on the situation, as said before. Second: They have list of reviews, as said. If your review is open, you have to be reviewed still. If its done, they dont immediately answer. They answer all appeals once all reviews are done, to save time. That also depends on the ban reason and situation etc...

Remove the account information. That includes account name and email. Use the ban appeal section to create an unban appeal.
