TBC is currently on the back burner. We are mainly focusing on the launch itself and then finishing vanilla content for Nostalrius PvP realm. After that, it could be a possibility but no promises and especially no ETA.

You're correct. The old Nostalrius and Elysium accounts people played on are inactive at the moment, safely stored away. For the two stress tests, everyone needs to create a temporary test account. Those accounts will be wiped & deleted after the tests. For the actual launch, you will either use your old account(s) to log in or, if you're a completely new player, you will be able to create your permanent account and then start playing. Remember that one account is sufficient to play on all three realms but that forum accounts are completely separate from game accounts.

Yes, you can continue with the old Nost client. As long as your realmlist.wtf is correct, any 1.12.1 client will do.

This is because the forum was originally only for the use of the Valkyrie server, where official language was Russian. It was then expanded to cater to the Elysium server, where official language was English. The Russian segment will likely stay for now. You can filter it out in your forum account settings. Ignoring those sub-forums is not a major headache and their existence does not imply that the administrators favour Russians over other nationalities.

Test realm is not available quite yet. Your realmlist should point to logon.elysium-project.org

That is a safe download. You will need to change the realmlist.wtf file to use logon.elysium-project.org instead of the old Nostalrius login.

Faction lock was reality on Blizzard PvP realms, to prevent cross-faction spying. On private servers it does not matter much since account creation is free. Nostalrius allowed both factions on the same account and we will do the same.

As to op - you will have a hard time to reach exalted with Darkspear Trolls - because the cloth donation NPCs will not be available on Elysium PvP at launch. So you need to run to Durotar as a level 1 (you'll probably hit level 2 from exploration XP) and start doing the Orc/Troll starting quests. I would recommend using a vanilla database to identify all quests that give Darkspear Trolls reputation and do them when they are valid to you - grey quests give significantly reduced amount of reputation.

And to confirm, we have weapon speed normalization working properly. So what Armilus wrote above is 100% correct.

Trial and error LupoWulf, trial and error. We are exploring possibilities of inserting a new email address to an account or replacing the current one. The problem is that without other methods of verification, it weakens overall account security.

Sorry but 1.12.2 is a localization bug fix for the Spanish client. Which is why every vanilla server uses 1.12.1 because that's the last vanilla patch for everyone else. The TBC pre-patch is 2.0.0. It was brough to live realms about a week before the launch of TBC. I remember it well because people went nuts and formed raid groups to farm the mobs in Deadwind Pass near Karazhan since they now dropped Netherweave cloth. When you installed TBC, you installed patch 2.0.1 which enabled the Dark Portal and rest of TBC content.
