Vanilla wow.exe is no pinnacle of programming. Leave it running on the title screen and CPU usage can go to 100% I would recommend turning Vsync on so that it doesn't try to run some insane FPS amount. As for RAM, it's better to use a fixed number instead of 0 which means dynamic. So put 512 there, for example, as that is plenty enough for your addons and then the client does not need to dynamically request more RAM when it needs it. That should help a little bit as well. Cleaning your computer of dust and double-checking fan profiles is usually useful too. Of course, there is always the possibility of malware being hidden in your PC and being run in the background. It never hurts to run safety checks. But it just is the nature of the beast, vanilla client was not programmed for modern CPUs and Windows - when running a 14-year old program, odd things are bound to occur.

Bots have to be caught in action and they are rarely online 24/7. We are currently recruiting new GMs to improve our coverage and response time. Please be patient - we cannot just willy-nilly ban someone because a player thinks they are violating our rules.

You cannot buff someone with a lesser version of a buff, you get that same error message. If there is a specific case where you managed to do so, please report it in our Bug Tracker.

There is a new lvl-60 blue gear set that comes with patch 1.11 and new purple weapons also arrive with that patch. This change, which is Blizzlike, means that players cannot expect to just buy those items when they become available but must rank again if they want those items.

You can use Aux. Using some sort of auto-buy feature so that Aux buys things for you without player input, is automatisation and not allowed.

We actually need to verify player reports, which is why sometimes you see the bots remain since no GM has had the opportunity to verify them. Bots do not actually stay online 24/7 all the time. OP, make a in-game ticket: red question mark, stuck, still stuck page a GM and write their names down. No need of a screenshot for bots, just make sure you got the names right. Including race and class can help in case you mistype the name.

Nostalrius had a higher limit for a while and it caused technical issues. I do not how ED and Kronos solved these issues or whether they happened so rarely that it hardly mattered but we're extremely unlikely to lift the cap because of said issues. We have seen them in action and they are not easy to fix. You can always create another guild solely for alts, for example and use a custom channel for everyone to communicate in if necessary.

We're one of the few places where Ironfoe has its correct proc rate. It's not going to be increased.

We use the 1.12.1 version of the client, which means that all talents and skills are as of that patch. However, we emulate the retail patch progression when it comes to instances, raids and itemisation as closely as possible. Elysium is on patch 1.3 at the moment. Items that were introduced in later patches are not available yet. Anathema is on patch 1.9 meaning that there vastly more options for gearing. This makes it quite important to say which realm you play on when talking about gear and/or quests.

I had the pleasure of monitoring Reign, Entitled, Blacklisted and Dank Budz Collective last night in AQ40. I can definitely say that the raid is not too easy. There were wipes during trash and C'thun was a definite show stopper. Nobody needs to be worried that the Temple is a walkover.

When something seems to be too good to be true, it usually is the case that it isn't true. Or in this case, it's a bug and a number of guilds exploited that bug to easily kill bosses and trash in AQ40, AQ20 and ZG. My outburst in Discord was unfortunate and I've apologized to Qgalskap. He was the latest in a long line of players who came into Discord, usually not identifying which guild/raid they were from, and then tried to turn the tables around by accusing us that it was somehow OUR fault, that WE forced YOU to exploit. This is what every exploiter always claims. When a node instantly respawns and you farm dozens or hundreds of herbs/ore instead of reporting it, you get banned. When a mob gives excessive amount of XP and respawns near-instantly and you gain multiple levels per hour instead of reporting it, you get banned. When a buff/spell combo ticks for never-before-seen numbers and a raid continues to utilize it instead of reporting it, you get banned. Always in uncertain situation, make a ticket and STOP DOING IT. GMs will clarify the situation as soon as they can. I cannot stress this enough. We are currently investigating this situation and separating the wheat from the chaff as they say. I expect some of the bans will be overturned and others commuted from permanent to a temporary suspension, which is why I suggest that everyone involved make a ban appeal if they have not done so yet.
