Pets never really came into their own until TBC. Try rolling a hunter there if vanilla is not to your liking.

War Effort supposed to end April 19 (tomorrow)
Drakbak replied to Ickus's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
The percentages already turned in doesn't mean they can't just hit a button to complete the war effort. -

Was meant more as a joke. Honestly, the change hasn't been in place long enough to see how the economy responds.
-
So you stocked up and now want the prices to return so you can gouge people again, right?

Not sure how anyone can prove AQ is not ready until the gates are finally opened....

Stance dance is a partial solution. As it stands, the timer for Nef's Bellowing Roar is random between 25000 and 30000 milliseconds. Even with optimal timing, horde warriors will miss a fear due to zerker's rage being on CD since the fears are on a faster CD. We are then subject to the pulsing effect of the tremor totem. Alliance get easymode with dwarf priest. Not a complaint, just a fact that's been well known since vanilla retail.

We need more monitoring on current prices for high level herbs
Drakbak replied to Fweezd's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
The herbs are priced that high because there are people willing to spend that much gold to buy them. It's the simple economics of supply and demand. As demand pushes prices up, fewer people are willing to pay those prices and the market reaches an equilibrium. The price can also be pushed up artificially by individuals with deep pockets that want to set a new "benchmark" for what these herbs cost. There's no downside to listing herbs at incredibly high prices as the deposit remains the same. All they have to do is buyout anything listed cheaper until the new normal takes hold. The greed of other herbalists will help cement the new normal. The only way for players to encourage the prices to drop is for people to stop buying them. Farm your own herbs or settle for supplemental goods such as Elixirs of Greater Agility instead of Elixirs of the Mongoose. Superior Mana Potions instead of Major Mana Potions. The only way the devs can encourage the prices to drop would be to increase spawn rates on herbs. Higher supply makes it difficult to artificially control prices. -

Honestly, for me the biggest hindrance has been the volatility of the herb market. Prices going up three-fold forces me to spend more time farming for raid consumables and less time farming for the war effort. -

1) LOL at $10k being enough to even get a lawyer interested in taking on Blizzard. 2) A case such as this would set a precedent for the entire video game industry. You won't be fighting just Blizzard. You'd be fighting every company that advances the game through patches or expansions without the ability to experience the older content. That's basically every MMO, MOBA, digital card game, etc as these are games that MUST evolve in order to remain competitive. You're also likely fighting against any company that has shut down public servers without allowing a private server option, this happens A LOT with older games. You would need to hire Jackie Chiles to take on this sort of lawsuit.

Can't go wrong with Resto Shaman, but any decent healer shouldn't find an issue getting into a guild. The need for dps/tanks is a bit more dependent on the individual guilds and fluctuates over time. If you're serious about rerolling, <Team Blackout> isn't opposed to recruiting up and coming raiders. We raid 8pm-12am Tues/Thurs EST. If interested, contact me in game or /who someone in the guild and ask for an officer and we can talk about what classes you're interested in rolling, what we're recruiting, etc.

@hotzpocket with the introduction of the two fresh realms, I'd wager that the majority of low level toons on Anathema are actually just alts. Plus, I doubt they're going out of their way to farm excess of what they need for their own skillups because they're too busy catching up to 60. The level 60 characters are the ones who need to do the heavy lifting. And they'll take care if the big stuff first. -
A payment of this size was made directly to OVH and was accepted. They've filed the chargeback a full 3 weeks after the payment was accepted and processed. You CAN'T plan for that without having paid even further in advance. Elysium devs always told us that the server was paid up through May....that was this individual's direct payment.

The one invoice he linked backdates the 3months to feb 23, running through may 23.

Nobody farms copper bars because there are resources that need to be turned in that offer greater rewards. If it takes relatively the same amount of time to farm a stack of Runecloth as it does a stack of Copper bars....I'm going to farm the runecloth. Once the higher-tiered resources are completed, only then will the low-tier resources be farmed en masse.
