Releasing a new server right now isn't a good idea. I do like the idea of a new server when Elysium has progressed past AQ/Naxx though.

Releasing a new server every 6 months might be a little too frequent depending on the server timeline. A fresh server every year will attract new players looking for a fresh start much like Elysium did. The fresh servers were an awesome idea, look at the Elysium population compared to the dead Anathema.

I like the idea of releasing a new progression server every 6 months or so. The other EQ private servers do the same thing. It's sort of like a season for Diablo 2 or POE. The question is, what do you do with it after the season is up? Merge it with Anathema? ha! I'm assuming these servers are just VMs? It should be easy to do, just copy pasta.

You're breaking the law as soon as you upload .01% of a copyrighted file. The problem is your torrent client starts to upload pieces of the file as soon as they're downloaded.

Right their goal is to be as close to Blizzlike as possible. The unBlizlike population should be addressed and the supply of herbs should be altered to meet the needs of the population. I remember seeing Elysium peak at 7k last week so the herbs should be 3-4x as plentiful as retail.

If anything Anathema will progress slower than the rest since the AQ/Naxx content is not complete. At this rate the other servers will catch up to the Anathema timeline soon. Bank on a higher pop, it will survive longer.

Increased world herb spawns will make this not a big deal. Case closed.

How is any private server even Blizzlike? They're all custom. The population isn't Blizzlike. We're progressing through content with 1.12 talents. Etc.

There is inflation on this server when people can just print money by solo farming DM. inflation and hyperinflation are caused by an excessive growth of the money supply. Let's see what happens with the herb prices with the increased supply.

Torrents are legal as long has you are using it that way. You can download Linux distros and other open source software that way. Use a VPN for illegal downloads if you are using a big name ISP like Comsuck.

Stop your torrent client, they don't like people uploading copyrighted stuffs.

TL;DR, can anyone fill me in?

ZK needs to be put out of it's misery so we can funnel server maintenance fees into the other servers. Also the GMs are already spread too thin.

Anathema is like the PTR for the Elysium project.
