One of the core values of the project is to be as similar to vanilla as possible, this includes the fact there was no name changes back then, a lot of players say that the lack of name/appearance/faction change solidifies the idea of identity within the community. It's very slightly possible, gather all of your information and send it to snow on the forums. It's probably a no-go but thats your best bet.

I agree with you to a massive degree, its the small things we all miss and deadmins is so iconic, its definately one of the things im gonna enjoy the most. I think Mr. Smites original dialogue will be a big part of that. Some other things i think that will give me the same kind of feeling is watching the original cinematic again, questing in searing gorge, heck even the way that gnomes cast and the sound a mechanostider makes when mounted will give me the nostalgia we all seek. Obviously end game is a lot of it for me, i cant wait to clear ZG and MC in paticular.

Hey platebear, i just asked around on the discord channel and it seems as if beserking has been intentionally disabled on the old nost core that we'll be using on the live servers. Don't take my word for this, i'm not a GM/QA and this is just the word of some people on the discord. The fellow does seem rather knowledgeable about it though; saying that none of his troll chars could use it.

Mesh (a developer) posted yesterday in discord, something to do with IP restrictions. Heres what he/she said. @everyone IP restriction to 1 account has been lifted. not that it will be restored for launch. @everyone This restriction only applies to account creation, multiple players can play the same IP as long as there is a single and unique person behind each key board. hope this cleared it up

I'm afraid I cant say fot sure as theres something going on with IP account creations, check the news section of the discord the an announcement on this. Its likely you can make an account on another computer and play either.

Hey there Antima thanks for your post, before I begin I wanna say im not a shaman or a GM and im not sure about details on thr bug, its more of a Quality Assurance (QA) issue. I can say for sure though that the bug tracker is working. This bug tracker would probably list problems from Elysiums source code and since were moving to Nostalrius's stuff these are redundant. Luckily for us the old bug tracker from nostalrius is still working and all the bugs are being tracked so you might be able yo still find details of it. pretty sure you can find both sections by going to the usual elysium project website, clicking community to go into the forum section then selecting either the "old bug tracker" or the "bug tracker". Also there are patch notes in the general section of the forums, I think theyre empty at the moment though because the project is still being finished. Yes this can be tested on live realms during the stress test, we will be running the same hardware as that will be used on live servers but probably not by players as everyone starts at level one. Its likely if you make a bug report through the correct channel that the very capable QA team will test this issue on the GM only public test realm. Feedback will also be given on your bug report so you can track it until servers are live. Sorry if that was a bit all over the place, im on a phone at the moment scrolling up and down to answer different sections of your question.

Hey there Unknown User (assuming thats not your name but anyhow) the information you requested is out there on forums and FAQs and what not but im gonna put a little info in here just incase someone stumbles across this with the same questions. Please note that im writing this on the 26th of november 2016. Yes you can get onto your old nostalrius account, not only the source code but also the databases listing characters and account names are being moved over. Elysium chars and accounts will be asked to change name, nostalrius details given priority here so youll be able to log in with your original drtails, please make sure that the email account attached to the account in question is secured. You dont need to do anything to get back onto your nost account, infact when the time is right and assuming that your game files and realmlist are correct youll be able to log back in like you always did. The stress test tomorrow will not share the same account and it is asked that you register a new account (available now) to help with the stress test. There is no official date on the realm launch, but as mentioned thd stress test is tomorrow. To your next question which has kinda already been answered in these paragraphs, you only need to register for the stress test (available now). You aldo dont need to contact anyone, this forum post was all the help you needed to reach out for, if you would like any further assistance I'd reccomend trying the discord help n support for an extra avenue of information that might help you. All of the things that players need to connec tto the server are dealt with through automated process and I like to think that the GM's and devs are hard at work making sure these things work for the masses. A change of appearance wont be an option im afraid, but you may be thankful for that. I find that in vanilla having no name changes or anything to the same description solidifies the idea of identity and community. Hey there Aramos, I wonder did you source the client download from the current elysium link? You could try Kronos, old Nostalrius has an archived version, Retro WoW also works. These private servers work on the same client and patched version of world of warcraft as the Elysium project will. If you get any of these to work then the only issue is changing the realmlist to suit elysiums port. I have some strange issue with utorrent not finding thr torrent sometimes, note that thid may not work for you. In uTorrent there is a drop down option which allows you to grab a torrent straight from a url, keeping this in mind; go to the pirate bay site where you intend to download your client. DONT COPY THAT URL! see the magnet download link? right click it and select the option to coppy the URL of the torrent file its self. Going back uTorrent, copy the url into the "grab torrent from url" dropdown menu we discussed earlier and it should be good to go. keep me posted, come on the help n support discord if the forum isnt active at the moment.
