It seems to me that for you Warlock represents what you know how to play well, and are accustomed to. Shaman seems to be your nostalgic class. My recommendation: Play whatever you think feels coolest, and for you that seems to be Shammy. Don't bother much with what's good or bad.

People seem to forget that there won't be months of waiting for anything on the new fresh realm. The content is ready and will be released accordingly. No way the team will make players wait another month than necessary for a new raid if most of the community is already ready to move on.

Something must be wrong with your client. I see no correlation between an improper realm list and a faulty client launch. Where did you download the client from?

I don't understand the problem, clearly you dumped the pornography collection and should be able to easily regain your credentials. If that doesn't work, let us know. Jokes aside, though. Good question. I'm sure the staff will provide a way for you to get around this issue when the launch is closer. Best of luck.

I don't mean to be rude, but this forum has been over this thread several times, a simple search would certainly have led you to existing threads on the subject in which you could post. On topic; I expect that the fresh server will have the biggest population, naturally, as it presents a reset option, which is what everyone that isn't absolutely top tier and already dominating on the Old Nost server wants since it gives them a new chance at everything. Also vanilla players tend to be RPG lovers to actually enjoy feeling character development and thus don't mind leveling in return for a greater sense of achievement, they can also relate much better to their character if they see him/her grow. I say they, but I mean we, as I am part of this group. I can't answer for old character, since I have none.

TL;DR version: Don't be a potato and you won't get hacked. Enjoy.

My advice is that you play warlock if you want to meet the demand. However, because people tend to forget that vanilla raids let you bring 40 people in but weren't necessarily designed with a necessity of having 40 people inside the raid to beat the boss, thus allowing one to not have to be spectacular in everything one does and consequently diminishing the need to "meet the demand" in all aspects, what I truly advice (and oh god, I hope you follow this one to the letter) is that you pick something you like to play, and assuming you aren't a potato head that can't distinguish left from right not only will you find a spot in a raiding guild, you will have fun doing so.

This is the problem of having weeks of waiting time ahead of us, people have enough time to find the weirdest things to complain about. Just remove it from your channels, if it does bother you. Not a lot of people play MMOs for their solo aspects.

If the option doesn't exist within the TT menu in game you can indeed only change it if you change its' code. So, unfortunately, there won't be a more "instructive" answer.

Definitely the new PvP server. Fresh servers are always more popular. Some people form the old PvP server even prefer to start anew.
