Yeah but Elysium had 1k peak pop while Nost had 15x that? As well as a constant 8k pop all day. Elysium was probably very nice before our - soon - arrival.

Tjaz is correct. The server is frozen, all characters were frozen a few days ago. What ever you do from the frozen date to the new server opening date will be reversed.

Here is my contribution to the guide, it helped a ton of people over the hump and I'll be adding some more observations below. (http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=17526&start=10) All priest, make sure to get Spirit tap from the shadow tree. Every time an oil of immolation slays a skeleton you will get 15 secs of 100% more spirit. Since the oil last 15 secs you will be renewing that buff per kill. Its worth roughly 30 secs of 100% up time +100% spirit per oil you use. The oil also has a cooldown of 5 secs or so. You will be milking this mechanic to get serious mana returns. Every wave that is cleared you will gain (http://db.vanillagaming.org/?spell=23108) a major mana buff. So as long as you're potting on cd that buff will top you off. Yes you will hit very low levels of mana as the later waves die. So low you might want to give up. But the aforementioned buff is substantial and will keep your mana up just long enough to re-pot and to get into another wave of skeletons to milk spirit tap. I tried this 4 times in total. Two times I failed due to late stage interference from random people and one time from failing at the last wave. One a successful attempt I burned 15 oils of immolation, and five mana pots. Indeed the r14 train will start again. Fortunately I finished my run. The new alliance and horde will have a blast. From what I recall a ton of new alliance players were making a push. Seems when Nost got to main stream a ton of alliance started to level. I'm looking forward to see if all the alliance come back.

Why would they be playing if the server has saved and frozen characters progress? People need to read forums to stay up to date, its imperative on private servers. Guess they can enjoy playing and they will be mad when they log into the merger rolled back by a month or so.

Damn dog, do you want battle.net too? Merging accounts sounds like a nightmare since everyone will be trying their hardest to steal accounts and outright absorb them. Its a nice idea but you (and I) made multiple accounts and we got to live with it.

MY goodness stop it already, the Devs already said a fresh start will come in the announcements. Stop panicking that the Nost community will come and steam roll and camp you when the pvp server comes. YES A FRESH START IS COMING, JUST WAIT FOR IT.

They will do the same thing Elysium and its host does, flush them down the toilet. The team made this choice fully aware a new C/D will come and they're fully aware Blizzard will up the ante.

Thats just it Holystrike, the merger will just put everyone exactly where they are at. So these people trying to influence people into a fresh start server won't lose anything at all. I think some of the posters are lacking critical reading skills and don't understand their toons were frozen today (or whatever date) and will just be back when the merger is complete.

I don't understand all these people asking for a fresh start. It's been made clear a fresh start will happen as well as merging PVE to PVE servers and the same with PVP, all with restored toons. So you can do any of the three options. Come on people did you even read the post?
