So, If you check my post history, you will see that I clearly approve of Elysium. However, they could have avoided ALL of this "drama" if they had openly stated that these people were being used for AND the roles that they played as outsiders in to project. This will be a learning experience for the team and going forward I will suspect that they will be a lot more transparent when dealing with people who are morally corrupt.

Well they do suck. What we do is take the guild and go spend 1-3 hours in the crater. We farm up 1-2 Devilsaur Sets and hand em out to our rogues/hunters/warriors. We have done this almost every week. The mafia is there, we bully them out, we get our stuff, we get bored and go do other shit. Not every fat introvert neckbeard deserves to be the hero of azeroth and not everyone is entitled loot just because they log in to play a damn game. You all have options, you just want the easy way out for PvP situation on a PvP server.

On Elysium that Snawfu / Danes group of wanabe mafia are getting cucked so hard because of what I mentioned above. I must advise you though, get acquainted with a french rog/mage with a good MS, or you might still lose the tags.

Hey guys, So as is blatantly obvious, to anyone attempting to play atm, the servers are under heavy DDOS. There was a single twitter post 2 days ago that there was work going towards a possible fix. We haven't heard anything else since then, however the DDOS has still been going unchecked. The DDOS seems to be specificaly targetting certain servers as well. My suggestion is thus: Allow for a maximum of 5 connection attempts per hour on the targetted servers. This will automatically stop the DDOS attack. However it does mean that some innocents will get mixed up in the crossfire. Especially if they need to load addons / relogg to apply changes to UI / relogg to fix WDB etc ... This is NOT a fix. This is a bandage until your team can manage a better method of mitigation.

I don't know what you did and I don't expect you to tell us either. But thank you for sorting the DDOS issue. It is evident that the server is still under heavy attack (server wide spikes occasionaly) but the mitigation you have in place seems to be working wonders. Again, much thanks. Keep up the good work.
