You can debate it, especially If players aren't topped off immediately. I did say it has it's place, you just won't get much out of it in a raiding environment with a competent healing team. For most situations a low rank Flash Heal will probably be the go-to spell, Heal or a Holy Nova if 3+ people are hurt in your party (positioning is important for this one).

Hey TheRealJindo! Renew does suck. The Pros: It's use is ok for dungeons and for an on move cast.. that about covers it. Basically anywhere where you are the sole healer and damage isn't out of control, then you might have a place to use Renew. Renew benefits massively from your + Healing. The cons: This is a HoT. It heals in ticks every 3 seconds and even though renew does benefit a lot from our healing power, it will more than likely end up as overhealing in a group environment. This is because a competent healing team will not allow people to remain low long enough for your Renew to tick. Downranking is also a waste, because if you are going to use it to only heal up small amounts of lost HP, then why not just use a low rank flash to heal that. Downranking also makes the ticks a lot smaller. If you use a max rank, you will atleast be healing a lot IF your target isn't topped off fast. The talent for renew is worthless. It increases only the base healing of renew, this is a mere pittance and a total waste of 3 talent points. It cannot crit, If it can't crit it cannot proc inspiration. It can't be stacked. Only 1 renew per target. It can be argued that you can use this as a cushion for tanks. I agree, but only if you are the solo healer. If your tank is dipping low so much that you are always getting the maximum healing out of your renew in a raiding environment then you shouldn't be suprised to see tank deaths. Gear list: All the items listed are pre-BiS because it brings out the most + Healing with valuable stats that you can get outside of raiding [*assuming Diremaul and AV is released] + Healing is the stat that literally affects everything important for a healing priest, from actual throughput to mana conservation through the use of downranking. You can argue that there are some niche items that you can equip aswell. Like having a full MP5/Spirit regen set for Chromaggus dispelling. This is niche. It isn't required either. I hope this has clarified things a bit

I don't think calling out what I see trolling though. It wasn't like I attacked you either. Infact I pretty much just said it looks like you want to rage about it later and that you should rather play the game instead. (obviously servers aren't up yet xD)

Too bad. That is how it is. It was 7 hours before. The priest one is 2 hours aswell. The hunter one got dropped down to 3 hours. You think it is still unreasonable? Go retail. They allow people with family, full time job, quadriplegics to get everything they want in 1 hour game play a week. The alternative? Get on the list, make time, take turns, blacklist a.ssholes who despawn demons and cut infront of the que.

Most of them came from retail? I am rather sure of it. Instant gear aquisition. Instant max lvl. Instant ques. Most of them have warped expectations methinks and I wouldn't be suprised if the majority of the whiners won't make it past lvl 15.

A world that feels alive. Items that can be used from multiple raid tiers that don't just "get replaced" by the next instance. Gold matters. Character investment matters. Being a part of a raid feels like being a cog in a giant machine. Multiple avenues of farm eg; gold, consumables, buffs, rep, honor. Non homoginised characters, each class is its own! Let's face it, Nost just encompases all of this. So it wins.
