Did you ever even play on Nostalrius? DM was a f.ucking guantlet from reset (Takes you to DM:W entrance) to the back entrance of DM:E. Edit: If you died you spawned outside of the DM ruins aswell and had to make it past the same gankzone.

Invades Priest forums - Tries to prove ret + Holy works well together - links weaksauce logs where the top dps for Lucifron is 500. Now, my guild on Nost was definately not amazing, I would say we were above average at best. This was one of the 2x MC raids we ran each week, with our mains split across the board. You keep linking logs to prove your point in almost every thread regarding DPS (Especially if paladins are involved) and noone ever links an actual example of a real log to show you why you are wrong. Even this log I linked you is half the power of a raid with our full geared mains. Ret, Disc, Dps druids, Elemental.. even that Shadow Priest you see there was doing it for funzies (he was also doing more dps than Smote, but that's besides the point -.- ). None of these specs are ever going to be good in vanilla PVE raiding, no matter how much you rage about it. You can still get a spot in some guilds because they don't care. That is cool, as you say, it is only a game. I have now linked you some undisputable proof. Drop it and move on (or atleast of the priest boards).

Hello Lipidus1, A priest going Disc on their way to lvl 60 won't really matter that much till you are lvl 40. You will still pick up Spirit Tap for your leveling regardless and Improved Wand spec is already in Disc. Up till lvl 40, going PvP as a disc also won't make much of a difference. However when you hit 40 you always (ALWAYS) go respec to get Shadowform. This talent is just far too strong to overlook for both PvE lvling and PvP. The increased damage for shadow (15%) outweighs anything Disc can give you and, even more importantly, the 15% physical damage reduction is huge. As for PvE the only reason you would go deep disc at 60 is if your guild has content on farm and you all overgear it, even then your wouldn't probably use it till after BWL because that is when Mages and Warlocks really begin to scale hard. Edit: On a side note, because there seems to be some confusion in this thread, there is no PvE DPS disc priest, but if you think not having 15% physical damage reduction OR Silence is ok in a PvP situation, then sure, go ahead.

I dunno about Kazzak, but I did get hit and killed by an AoE shadowbolt for 800+ from a "Skeletal Warrio". Didn't see it anywhere though.

The fresh PvP realm will be called Elysium PvP. The stress tests are now over, now we wait with held breath for the release our the original Nost PvP server. I will need to hold my breath a bit longer though because I want to start fresh with Elysium PvP

TOP KEK first boss fight, first boss kill. Come Join Iron Edge for the stress tests, hang out on TS till servers are up and then get rocking with our guild.

Hello Saraghtera, Don't let the leveling phase get you down sir! Playing a priest is one of the most rewarding things you can do in WoW and it just gets better as you get higher lvl. Infact, as far as concistency and downtime goes, leveling a priest is really good. Leveling tips: 5/5 Spirit Tap then 5/5 Improved Wand. Shield -> MB ->SW:P -> wand till dead or till next MB is up. (Don't bother with MF, it does the same damage as your wand and it costs mana) Pull one mob at a time. Green and Yellow quests only. At lvl 40 respec to Shadowform. Get as much Spirit/int as you can but don't buy gear off AH (except maybe a cheap wand upgrade) Have some good music on in the background (I like listening to trance while leveling!)

Blizztards can force the OVH to close us but I have never heard of them doing that before. To be fair I expect us only to receive C&D orders. Blizzard doesn't give a damn about the private server scene, and the only reason they send out C&D's is because they need to show that they are protecting thier IP. For them to take legal action is something else entirely. As long as Elysium does what they say they will, we don't really have anything to worry about. Let's face it, if you are worried about getting shutdown, you shouldn't be playing on private servers anyway. The possibility will always be there, no matter what.

Reminds me of a tauren druid I met back in vanilla who leveled to atleast 53, because I met him in Western Plaguelands, using only auto attack with 2 hander. That was insane. He was convinced that forms were worthless. One of my most memorable moments in vanilla was outside of Zulfarrak, lvl 45, saw a UD mage and loads of dead alliance around him including skeletons. Asked him what he was doing, he say "Farming", I looked around and saw only sandtroll elites, so I ask "Farming what?" he says "Farming Farmers". Apparently the chineese had been farming sandtrolls with bots and this guy was just killing them over and over. I still have him on my friendslist to this day. xD

Valkrye was the original server. After Nosts closure, a portion of the Nost team moved to work with Valk. They then gave Valk access to the database because they shared the same values as Nost (as read in the official announcement) They have now become Elysium, a multinational team as the Nost team was french mostly (I could be wrong on this but it makes sense since the server was run by the french). The server is also hosted in france by the same lot that hosted Nost servers. I doubt it will be 100% Nostlike, but I am pretty sure it will be very similar.

A safespotter is someone who gets up onto an object that makes it so guards are unable to attack them and uses this as a way to kill people. An example of this is the rooves in Gadgetzan or some places in Bootybay and Lightshope chappel Exploiting in otherwords.
