    Rare monster corpses

    It's because the server did not properly script corpse timers. They use the respawn timer of the mob itself to determine how long the corpse should remain, so if the mob is 6 hours to respawn... then the corpse will sit there for hours. But most of them just drop a random stat green, ie sword of the owl, cloth of the tiger, or similar garbage. The only real reason to hunt rares is if you're a Hunter trying to tame unique models, like the pink tallstrider, or one of those suckers that thinks having a 1.0 attack cat is important.

    Exalted doesn't have hardly anything on it except a free Naxx entry key, which is worth it if you can get it before Naxx opens. Rep is easier to acquire now so grinding out whatever you have left gives you something to do. You also need to grind for 2x frost enchants anyway, so you may as well get rep in the process.

    Whether something is a strategy or exploit is entirely subjective. If a player is able to do something in a game, without using any kind of third party program or boxing 2 clients, they naturally assume it's ok. But it might not be. This staff just expects you to know what is, what is not, and reacts with an iron fist to the face if they see you doing something they don't like.

    Every dungeon group does this and has for years. Many just farm that guy without clearing anything else. If you don't like it, then fix it. You should not threaten or piss on your players. It's this kind of stupid shit that just makes more people quit, and Anathema is already struggling to stay above water at this point. This game is full of exploits, and we should not be tasked with keeping a damn list of what's ok or not ok, or asking a GM for permission to do anything. If you don't like it, then fix it.

    No one forced all you hippies to roll on Elysium instead of Anathema. We told you to roll on the smaller realm. But like puppies following the crowd, you went there anyway, and now you get what you get, a realm that's laggy as hell, and queued up on the login screen. We keep seeing people in "our" world chat complaining that they can't get into Elysium, but at the same time refusing to play on Anathema, and saying no one should. Yes transfers would help everyone, but the players are to blame for this situation in the first place. Stop dogpiling onto what is already the biggest realm and go to the smaller ones. There's no reason why you shouldn't start on Anathema. We literally PUG raids every week and could carry your ass to full epics.
  9. We may as well progress Anathema to BC. If they split us with a 2nd realm for BC, there won't be anyone left on the Classic one anyway. Elysium has taken over as the Classic realm. We on Anathema have become a beta test realm. They should simply give Elysium the character copies and leave it behind for Classic.

    If you don't have any time to play the game, perhaps you should go with a singleplayer game. This isn't 2005 anymore, since then, you've gotten 3 Dragon Ages, 5 Dark Souls games, 3 Witches, and other games like Skyrim. You can play a SP title entirely on your own time, no one cares if it takes you a year to see the end of it. For realm choice, I'd suggest Anathema, because I'm not a selfish dick. Choosing the realm that already has plenty of players vs the one that needs more, doesn't help anyone except yourself. Saying it needs more players, then "not" rolling on it, makes you part of the problem, doesn't it?

    SM/RU is indeed better if you can use corruption. With 16 debuff slots, at least a few are available for warlocks to drop dots onto. If you have too many warlocks, then you'd want to start switching some to DS/RU. If so, this would be a good time to mix stones. You can get up to 3 stones at once by mixing talents, 0/2, 1/2, and 2/2. Most warlocks are SM/RU with 0/2 on talent, meaning it falls upon DS/RU warlocks to get the other ranks.

    Of course it's not difficult after you've researched exactly what to do. You meta gamed something that wasn't designed for it. The difficulty was supposed to come from not having any idea how to fight these things, and figuring that out for yourself. Beyond that, there's still plenty of room for error. These demons can kill you quite quickly.

    Why is balance druid so worse?

    The problem is you've just made a worse version of the frost mage, which is in every way better than a moonkin. The shadow priest by contrast brings a raid wide 15% shadow debuff to the table, meaning it can easily outdamage just having 1 more Warlock. The same is not true for druids, as feral or moonkin. The 3% crit buff is not worth trading another damage for. But if you want to play one, there isn't much stopping you. Being a unique clown that stands out in the crowd can be more fun than caster number X.

    Being slower does not automatically make something better. Any "top" Hunter would tell you Rhok > any blue in game. Bloodseeker isn't even best blue anymore, as AQ 20 brought with it a better one, and it's easier to obtain as well. 1 pug run in ZG+AQ will tick the quest. HF trying to get a korrak kill on here.

  21. No one wants to make it better. If you do, you'll be told everything is not "blizzlike", and written off. If you somehow made your own server, no one would play on it. They want pure blizzlike classic, regardless of how bad something is on it. If the right changes were made, we could have a game that's far better than classic ever was, but that'll never happen. People want to swim to their island for quints every week. They want to do laps around AQ without a portal. They want a shitty ass AV and rank system. They'll stick by the worst flaws of classic, and refuse to change any of it. I remember the huge backlash Nost got just by fixing neutral town guards, as it was never done in classic. People on Nost, just like back in retail, were grieving on the rooftops every day like pricks. They custom scripted the guards to be like BC guards, which will now shoot you off the roof tops. The purists who like being pricks or don't want the game changed in the slightest from what it was in 2005; bitched up a storm about it. But this was the while playing on a realm that went far beyond what the cap was back then, so it wasn't blizzlike to begin with. I tried to beat sense into their skulls that a 10-15k realm wasn't blizzlike either. They queue locked at 3,500 back then. The rest would be looking at a login screen watching a bean counter. But they were like, "no no no, this unblizzlike thing is fine, but that other thing is not." I could not follow the logic.

    You'll use the imp for pretty much everything except BGs, in which you may want to pull out the void or hound. The succubus is the most worthless as seduction doesn't last long enough to help, none of her other spells matter at all, and one way or the other she dies too easily. She sucks quite a bit less if you tier bonus her resist up, because at 0r magic drops her instantly. 5p nemesis gives your pets a large boost to all resist. This is most useful on an otherwise useless succubus.
  23. I've seen it in 9/10 chests since Elysium launched. A pug Hunter is getting one off our guild every week. Meanwhile we have a row of priests with no staff.

    Rhok is your best weapon until the xbow off Chromag. This is your natural T1 best then T2 upgrade. The only reason to go for anything else is IF you can't get these. But I question how you'd be unable to get a Rhok because leaf is in 9/10 domo chests. If you can't get a Ashjr, consider the gun from Ouros, which is next in line for top. The crossbos from AQ 20, which is decent, you will NEVER see because it'll always be reserved for melee. This is especially true for tanks, who need hit for rage/threat, but get almost zill off their tanking equipment. The easiest solutions are bows/rings with hit, which don't hog up more important slots. Band of Accuria is best for this, which is 2 hit on 1 ring slot. This should always be tank priority drop. You however get hit on your gear/talents/enchants/scope, making it a no brainer to cap. "Rhok'delar is already worse than the AV xbow" That guy is an idiot. The Bloodseeker isn't even the top blue anymore, as the repeater from AQ/ZG quest has replaced it. This quest is nearly effortless to do, and gets you the best blue, for stats or shooting.
