Well, if you said that in 2000, you would probably be right (lets pretend LoL existed in 2000) However, in 2016 you are wrong. And, I'll explain why I think so. You see, back in 80s and 90s, even early 2000s game designers were not being strangled by marketing as they are today. Therefor, results of their work were mostly driven by their own inspiration, and consequently, they were shaping player base, not vice versa. On other hand, today's gaming industry, because of much larger production cost can't afford wondering into uncharted waters. As a result, they create games for already existing player base. For example, LoL. who you like to blame it on, was just result of DotA popularity, not new ground-breaking project that reshaped world of gaming. In any case, today games are only meeting demands of our society, not reshaping society to accept them, and that is why I believe that you are wrong about this. It is much easier to give one good, old fashioned, left forehand slap to your kid when he deserves it xD

There is a add-on called MinimapButtonBag, or MBB. Basically puts all buttons on mini map under one button.

What bothers me is that people don't realize how big demand is for quality vanilla servers. We are talking about at least 20k people who are going to play on some of three realms, probably even more. No matter how you split population, there is no way that any of these realms will be unplayable (due to low population). Launch of CF (if it even happens) will probably put some dent into it, but not at the point where it will become an issue. And best part is that those 20k will grow over time.

To be considered as a professional you have to be payed for what you are doing. In our case, developers are doing all of this for free.

To be frank with you, it's probably related just to old Nostalrius PvE. Nostalrius PvP was just as toxic as Kronos, or at least it was to the point when you manage to get your self into decent guild and can just shut down world chat. Because of difference in nature of PvE, people were generally more tolerant there, or it may be just my personal experience. However, it is more likely that people have just blown their memories out of the proportion after Nost shut down. Entire event kinda turned Nostalrius into martyrs, and therefor so many nice comments about community. Reality is that people can chose what they want to see in game, while on the forums they don't have such commodity. I remember all the drama on old forums when they were deciding about opening of PvE realm. Mindless bots were polluting forums with their comments how it is going to ruin population, divide us, etc...all coated in just as ill language as most of the conversations regarding old realms vs new realm now days are. And you are right, some of them are extremely whiny and spoiled, but some other are generally ok kids who just need to blow off some steam, as Faith put it above. My advice to you is to either ignore their existence, or just stop visiting forums, because internet is what it is. Neither you, nor me, are going to change their spoiled way of thinking, and we'd just waste our time and energy trying to make them do so. Embrace what you are and be grateful that you are not thinking as one of those bots.

If you feel like you need to win every argument that you possibly can come up with, get your self a pet.
