Personally, I always liked LUI most of all. Ofc, it's not available for vanilla, but if you can get your hands on textures from original LUI (or any other UI, really) you can import it in game with Discord Art and Discord Unit Frames. I was working on this today, not finished yet, tho.

You realize that this is donquihotesc effort? There is at least 10% of population on every private server that behaves really rude (in some cases, rude is even understatement). But it is what it is, neither of us can change that. I suggest you get some of those "improved ignore list" addons.

That is true. Louder are always easier to spot, but regardless of who's right here, you or me, those ill mannered creatures that pollute private servers will be there and new tank will have to deal with them, sooner or later. Make a note, even if it's just 10%, we are talking about 2k people, approximately, on Elysium, I'm just pointing out that he should be ready for that.

To put it simple, you can get some basic ideas by watching other players tank while you heal/dps, you can ask them questions, read guides and watch videos but it is like asking someone to tell you how to learn to swim. He can tell you all he knows, you can see all guides and videos, but till you start trying to do it your self, you won't really learn it. More importantly, imo, is how do you handle the pressure? Because, let's be honest, at least 50% of randoms that you will get in your party are not exactly most tolerant and patient(to prove my point there, just look at shitstorm surrounding Elysium release date announcement). They will all blame you when things go sideways, regardless of what they were doing, was right or wrong, no matter, they will still blame you.

Calling someone retard is really a good argument. But let's ignore this well-mannered being, shall we? Depending on your professions, in some cases, reputation with numerous factions is a big deal, specially when you need to reach exalted, rep bonus for humans can be a big deal. Regarding gear, ZG/AQ20/AQ40 sets (which require reputation with specific faction) are not exactly a best choice for holy paladin, and AD rep for t3 (Naxx) will not be a problem, since you will only need to get to honored, and you will be doing a lot of Stratholme runs anyway. On other hand, dwarfs have nice racial, stone form, which can be useful in many situations which people before me already mentioned. Also, imo, dwarf in healing gear looks way better then human So, really, it's up to you, each choice has it good sides so pick whichever suits you more.

Fidelis is an alliance guild which is going to roll on Fresh Start realm. Even tho our priest roster might be filled, there is no guarantee that all of our new members, who haven't played with us before, will get to 60 in time (or even get to 60 at all).
