Consider eventual open transfers from ZK/Ely/Darrow -> Anathema in the future
Undertanker replied to Forest_'s topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Yes, it was predictable and many threads that I commented on fresh blood not being available to fill guilds would cause them to collapse. The thing about Kronos is that if you are Alli and you can only raid during specific availability that horde guild has, you can make the move to that faction rather than start a level 1 toon. During retail from 2005 to this very day it is not uncommon for an individual to have to jump server/faction to get paired up with people of likened ingame availability. -

I tried checking out your previous raids on Realmplayers, it is blank. I then checked Legacy Logs and the last raid is from 5/5/2017 the one before that on 4/7/2017. Do you guys clear weekly 40 deep or do you find yourself currently sitting in the mid 30s when raid time approaches? -

Grinding in a 5 man is up to 5-8x less exp per hour than just killing mobs your same level solo in the world. AoE farming? That is a luxury and not required. If you've invested gold, energy and 3 days into it and still level 50 then perhaps you should rethink your return on investment. Taking a 4 hours per day allotted time for leveling as an assumption for your quoted 3 days of doing nothing you could easily be level 53 or 54 (55 now at the time of replying to your post. Zones and specific hotspots WILL ALWAYS be dangerous, it is a World at War after all. Many of us leveled during times of 12K-15K people, so your experiences are not new and don't require much explanation. If there was some uber good no opposition AoE grinding spot that did exist, why would somebody just give that away to you and bring attention to their spot? Advice: Make a spec that limits down time and has decent killing time, go to any zone that has mobs 1-2 levels lower than you and stay the hell away from roads, quest hubs or locations that are frequented by questers ie: middle of nowhere. Grind on mobs that either give you rep, drop high price vendor loot, or something that is marketable on the AH such as meat for cooking. Slow Money > No Money, in this case EXP.

@TheRealJindo Many of the forum warriors are indeed longtime vets such as yourself, with that out of the way: What a lot of people seem to forget, or may not realize due to when they started playing on this project is that the hype, success wave of players from late 2016 was because the Elysium team wanted to carry on the legacy and movement of what Nost had created. Nost wasn't desperate for somebody to take the reigns, there was a line of project teams facing off in a non-economical bidding war to see who would obtain the Nost source code and with it all the players (new and old) that would come here. Raise of hands of the people who knew what the average daily pop of Elysium was before taking on the Vanilla community that stood united - aka Nost? With the acceptance of taking on an entire community, in my most humble opinion; it is the responsibility of said team to do what is best to keep the Vanilla community together. I can not say that is what is currently happening at the moment. We remain not only split due to competition team projects (that is expected), however we continue to remain a split/separated community internally. But the team is moving ZK you say? There have been talks of a merge for over 1/2 of that server's lifespan. Delayed actions show the opposite of the community being together as a priority concern for the team, not saying it isn't a priority - but you are what you do, not what you say. But hey, Wailing Caverns is looking good now I guess. WC > Osserian Crystals. This is just one example of many, #NamingServerAfterProject. "Fresh" isn't what brought the masses here, it was the community being reunited. Elysium had a "fresh" 3 months before Nost talks yet people didn't flock to it, why didn't the people play on it before which the server itself had many bug fixes that still existed on Nost at the time? It feels to me that the acceptance of Nost and the Vanilla community was just a tool to recreate their personal server (relaunch of Elysium) whom initial failed to capture the Nost community during Blizz CnD post 4/6/2016. As the populations continue to dwindle, before long what will separate Elysium Project from it's competition? Play here for low population OR no content server, play low pop server elsewhere. Just read some of the forum post from new players looking to start. Extra servers, smaller populations on 3/4 servers, having to try to find a team of people to play with before picking a server to make sure they are not investing 250+ hours of their life to find out people of their likened play availability are on X server but you rolled on Y server. TL;DR: This project took on a Vanilla community, not just a source code back in late 2016. A community that after 14 months was still seeing growth, as opposed to a steady decline since (re)launch here. It is the responsibility of the project to bring the community back together, the evidence shows that the collection of previous actions throughout the last 4-6 months has ran off more people than it has attracted to the project. -

It also increases your EHP along with the good threat which Iron Foe doesn't provide. On Alliance side axes are not as sought after, as many rogues and fury warriors are human. Generally my Loot Council sheets had Non-Human Fury Warriors > Tanks > Human Fury Warriors. Also you of all people know, if you can increase your TPS greatly with one slot, if allows you to go more defensive in another slot :)

Consider eventual open transfers from ZK/Ely/Darrow -> Anathema in the future

This. Transfers to Anathema or hell even allow Anathema players to faction change (I know there is leg work involved) so they can join a raiding guild that fits their time slot. - fall into the category at the moment. I can only raid Tues / Thurs late night NA. Since <ThunderCats> went under due to attrition the only guild that raids that schedule is on Horde. Currently my options are PUG 20 mans (which I do and host), reroll Horde (putting 75 days played in the trash and hoping the horde guild doesn't go under trying to recruit players), or reroll Elysium to raid MC. 4 NA guilds as well in the last month. RIP <ThunderCats> RIP <Ritual> RIP < Make Azeroth Great Again>, and another I can't think of the other off the top of my head. I know many are no longer playing but want to, that don't have a home. Remaining guilds filled their 3-6 slots/reserve roles and leaves many hanging. The player-base isn't there to kick up a new 40-man guild out of nowhere. Players have specific times and days they can play in general and it limits their options. This as well. Very important. Make adjustments as needed. Like you guys did with with 5k logon queue. Many games die out because of delayed execution of what is needed for the community. WildStar is a recent retail-version of a game that is another example. After they hype of release, servers shrunk - the heavily invested community cried for merges, and they didn't take action until 90% of the playerbase had quit due to the inability to fill 40 man raid rosters. They then brought everybody to 1 server, but the damage was done. ESO same issue. Retail WoW had the same issue which was subsided with cross-realm LFG/LFR. The community needs a spark. Allowing transfers to the server or faction changes will bring people together. Not everybody will agree with decisions you guys make, but like EVERY decision where you catch flame on forums, everybody is happy after the dust settles. It will keep the Elysium Team's mission going strong in regards to longevity. There WILL eventually be a time when there is only 1 PVP / 1 PVE server. I just hope that time isn't too far down the road that the dedicated players who have been here since day 1 are here to see it and it isn't held off for so long that populations don't take too much of a hit. - A Current Spectator / 20 man Pugger - -

Grats man. -
For raids 2.9-3.2 speed weapon with highest top end damage possible. While on paper when leveling some think speed doesn't matter, you want again, slow and strong. Reason being is you will have a much stronger opener, you will do more damage per stop-n-pop when kiting, and provide more burst in PVP. I would only. Use a fast high dps ranged weapon as a Hunter when farming things much lower level than you running lowbies through instances.

You uninstalled spell checker, not WoW. -
I had a band of accuria removed from my toon during token transfers (even though I obtained it before the pvp update/raid reset the week before the announcement), so I know your pain. I spent 1/3 of my Lifetime DKP (over 1 year of 100% attendance) for it.

Easiest way to answer this is look at your KTM. How often are your melee DPS at 108% of your threat, and how often are ranged dps sitting at 128% of your threat. Most likely the answer is never or super rare. - ie: not enough to justify having 2% threat enchant over .75% dodge and crit unbuffed. On average (non world buffed 20% crit base) with an impale spec 1 crit gives: 8.4 more damage per HS (using Thunderfury) 2.1 more damage per revenge 12.6 more damage per shield slam. Naturally 2% threat far exceeds these increased damage values as the base threat doesn't change. However again, I'll revert back to how often are your DPS sitting 2% behind you? That is too slam of a threat cussion for anybody to be still dpsing at and would have stopped (should have) before getting to you on KTM. But if you MUST: I'd say 2% threat on T1 gloves, 15 agil T2 gloves, put 15 agil on gloves from AQ, though I'd personally go 15 agil across the board.

141 runs for Tank NR helm still havn't seen it drop. Get on my level bro.

I'd recommend leveling some professions as you go. It will give you more reasoning to your grinding if you go skinning leatherworking to grind on beast. Or Tailoring and grind more on humanoid. Herb to give you that OMG a..... oh not high enough level.... :)
