				Elysium server is not PvP...

You mean because they gave the OP racials the one thing alli had going for it, and THEN gave blood elf pally the best dps buff to add on top of it. -

				Elysium server is not PvP...
Undertanker replied to Jdude2021's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
PVP "balance" of racials favors Horde. You are complaining because you don't want to be social, but log, queue, face roll. You are losing because you refuse to participate in player interaction (within an MMO) to prepare your team before a battle. -

Dumb question, but while polymorphed are you still humanoid?
Undertanker replied to Theloras's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Yes you are. You are still a humanoid, but under a magic spell. -
And the games resources were not designed with having 111 + full content raiding guilds on 1 server either.
 -
Why not sure include the bow / shield / 1h as well? Also note that different patches have different stats on pre-raid blue gear and T1/T2 gear.

I had to reinstall my nvidea driver, had off errors as well, but not when I first set this up. There was an update around December that made me go this route. OFC the drivers include the control panel, which is around 300mb. -

This would be inflation, which is not what is occurring on Anathema (no more than it should over our server lifespan). If currency in general was getting devalued, we wouldn't have any issues. It would actually be in favor of all players due to vendor items remaining at a fixed rate, so mounts/repairs/regents all cost less by % of average gold obtained per hour. My transmutes still charge the same, with a 20% variable in price from server launch to today. Why do I not get to charge 20g per transmute vs the 5g if money is devalued and inflated. It is because it isn't. Details below: Black Lotus from launch to now has seen a jump in cost from 28g to 145g. 417% increase. - demand > supply Plaguebloom from launch to now has seen a jump in cost from 12g a stack to 80 g a stack. 566% increase. - demand > supply Yet Arcane Crystals have only gone from 16g to 22g. 37.5% increase inflation. Runecloth from 1.2g a stack 1.8g a stack. 50% increase - inflation. Iron Grenades 1.0g to 1.55g. 55% increase - inflation. The Ace of Beast/Deck has gone down from 800g to 600g 25% decrease - supply > demand overachieving inflation. The Acoe of Elementals has gone drom from 200 to 70g. supply > demand overachieving inflation. Skullflame Shield from 250g to 120g. supply > demand overachieving inflation.

Have a mage max range R1 Improved blizzard their jumping point. Have somebody healing the mage. Solved. 2 people can prevent 40 from using it. As long as you stall them for 5 minutes, alli should win the game on a Zerg South.

It took me 52 runs for force of will. I am at 116 Rend kills and still haunt seen NR tank helm. Continue to pray to RNGesus.

I remember Corp Hur, Avatar the Hunter GM stealing ToeP was epic. I was in Damage Inc then Hell's Angels. Epitaph or how ever you spelled it was furthest Naxx progression.

It can be difficult at times, it can be a lot of fun as well. Think of tanking as a proactive/reactive role you play. Healers heal HP bars that go down in the group. You build threat on HP bars that are going down on mobs. Pressing buttons is not hard. The warrior forums has loads of information of threat ability prioritization and the works. 5 man tanking and raid tanking are completely different. 20 man tanking vs 40 man tanking is completely different as well, with 20 man tanking closer resembling 5 man tanking with the tediousness that comes along with 40 man tanking so I will not have a specific 20 man section. I'll explain in detail below: 5 Man Tanking: The difficulties: - Managing others: - Memorizing Trash: - AoE Pulls: - Knowing Boss Mechanics: The above is all manageable with proper communication throughout an instance with your group, and experience doing the instances. You will mess up. Learn from mistakes and each time you run the instance you will become better at pats/mechanics/trash prioritization. Tanking 5 mans is direct training for tanking trash in 20 mans. All of the above applies + what I'll cover for 40 man tanking. 40 Man Tanking: The difficulties: - Positioning: - Buff/Debuff Monitoring: - Cooldown/Trinket Management - Knowing Trash/Boss Mechanics I know this is a lot of "difficulties" listed, but do not let this deter you from playing a tank. It is a completely different feel for the game and may spark new life into your interest and approach to Vanilla. You are not measured by a DPS/Heal meter, but my leadership and pulling your team through those moments that people thought would have been a wipe if 99% of other tanks were at the helm. I would be lying to you if I told you the margin for error is extremely small at times compared to other classes. 1 minor mistake on your end can wipe a raid. This usually isn't the case for healers when there are 8-12 of them that support each other, or DPS with the very few instances that kicks/CC > damage, even then they have more support from their peers to make up for their mishaps. I've wiped many of raids during my growth as a main tank and I've saved a lot of wipes as well. My best advice overall is accept when you messed up and own it. If you do not, you will not grow from that situation. Even if the fault was not directly your own, still apply the group failure to yourself and what YOU could have done to prevent the mistakes of others. You do this on a daily basis, then the learning curve will be much easier to overcome.

Reposting from suggestion forum to here since some people are confused about terminology used in economics: "To those commenting on inflation, the ratio of ingame gold vs prices as a whole going up would be acceptable. This is not an example of inflation though. This is the most basic example of supply vs demand. If it was simply inflation, this would never be a discussion, since all items would increase by a relatively same rate of value across the board, meaning the numbers are high, but the amount of farm time to purchase said items would be the same. This is not the case. The % of population that raided beyond ZG/MC was very low in 2005/2006. The consumable consumption rate is out the roof compared to retail servers back then. The amount of guilds clearing content is extremely high on the server compared to back then. While the concurrent online population is getting around that of a full retail server, the amount of active players is higher, just a lot of people raid log. With out paying that subscription, you don't have that feeling of "I need to play more to justify the cost". I played on Warsong - NA server back in 2005/2006 and even with AQ40 released, you could count the amount of guilds that had BWL on farm on 1 hand. There are 119 guilds that have cleared BWL on Anathema alone. AQ40, 2 guilds, 2 guilds stepped into Naxx, 1 of which got Spider Wing down, other only Anub. We had a 750+ queue every weekday raid night. This point of the server, it was the two top guilds poaching the best of the MC farm guilds. This is why in 2006 on patch 1.12.1 you could get a flask for 49-55g at most (with a 750+ logon queue ie: not a dead server), compared to 220+ gold here without even having content out that will need flask. TL;DR: 25x the amount of successful raiding guilds on 1 server compared to retail vanilla, same spawn rate of resources. Supply vs demand, not inflation.

Lol @ Crown of Destruction comment. Warriors want it cause it's for PVP. Same for hunters, since your PvE helm comes from Onyxia, but their PVE helm (Lionheart) is a few hundred gold to craft. So the moral of the story, going by your logic, you are stealing Blackcrow from melee dps, since spending hundreds of gold for 1 pre-BiS is expected. Warriors should by making Lionheart, then you should be farming for DHC. So you don't need Blackcrow. #HunterNinja
