So, let's talk about the population diminishing
Undertanker replied to AzAMOuS's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
This thread for the majority has been a decent discussion with the typical shit posting to a min, which is nice. IMO the Zeth'Kur installment wasn't the best move as like the majority of the community anticipated the hype fan-boys from the previous shutdown news and media coverage got A LOT of temporary players that kick the can mid 30s when things really start to slow down. Zeth'Kur was always an overflow server from the beginning. The admins are not putting a def ear on the subject, they just are not going to repeat themselves over and over every time a new thread discussing the same things is created. To refresh everybody's memory, they publicly acknowledged that is the community took TOO much of a hit on Zeth'Kur, they would be merged with Elysium as they are both on the same patch. Forgive them for not wanting to answer/address the same statements for people who can't look past the first page of a forum. This predetermined mindset allowed people to play on the patch they wanted without 3-4 hour queues. Be thankful of this. Those whom chose to run Zeth'Kur were set expectations by many of the active forum posters that the server population would drop after the hype boys left, enjoyed the lesser crowded leveling zones / farmable mats and ride it until the merger happens one day. Maybe start an alt on either of your preferred patched servers in anticipation of the merge to avoid the MC raid log burnout. The admins are listening to you guys. Notice on the realm select screens how all realms say "full" except Zeth'Kur which says recommended? I've seen nobody comment on this. The admins are clearly attempting to funnel people to that realm. Perhaps an action taken a bit late, but was still taken none the least. The initial funneling of players may have been due to choice of server names. Anathema WarEffort was set to a hard standard, and they again are working on it. Deadlines are not met, which frustrates some of the community, while not having any deadline frustrates others. Give these people a break. At least they are giving everybody something, in regards to feedback. Again they are listening, like the pulling the plug on the customer server idea to fuel the war effort. Not a single post in favor of it. They listened and scratched that. Anathema does have a lack of up and coming players compared to it's end-game population. This is a product of opening Zeth'Kur. People that wanted an Ony / MC for 7 months bad enough could have stuck out the 3 - 4 week high queue, others that just want to play would have said screw the queue and went to Darrowshire or Anathema. Look at the end-game guilds in need of Fury Warriors. When have you ever heard people looking for fury warriors for over a month? The most played class. IMO as long as I have 40 people to play with on a weekly basis, I could care less if it is 10k, 5k, 2k, or 1k. The lower the numbers, the more reasonable prices are on limited resources. AQ will bring people into Anathema. Some of the Elysium population are Anathema players. Remember that. This all said, if a server's life is ensured with the advertisement from it's people. Go look at Reddit, twitter, youtube videos, hell even these forums. There is more negative than positive. You want longevity? You want health? You want you want you want? Promote what is good, promote entertainment, promote something, and quit letting a few shit posters dictate the public image. Imagine yourself as a potential Vanilla player, and browse those media outlets. What in the hell would convince you to try it out with all the bad shit EVERYWHERE posted by it's own playerbase. Get off of Viper and Nost epeens. They had over a year to fix something as game breaking as warrior rage on incoming damage. Fixed here before relaunch with the admins we have now at the helm. The admins are smarter than a lot of people give them credit for. If everybody had a microscope on every decision you made, every sentence you typed, every screenshot you posted, every server status given (like they do), you'd have people shit posting on you too. Sheena, she has bigger balls than a lot of these keyboard warriors to put up with it all. Don't bite the hand that feeds. People cry wolf and make a big deal out of new people to a project and out with the previous people. This is a volunteer project. There will be disagreements between people and some people may walk because of it. It isn't like a job where you can hate a direction your company goes and ignores your suggestions but you smile and stay because of a paycheck. New talent brings new ambition. New ambition brings progress. TL:DR: They have addressed concerns about merges. The player base hurts the population due to being openly negative rather than positive. If you can get your raid and friends together, who cares about yada yada. Sheena more manly than a lot of you guys, though she may over burden herself with some hard to meet self imposed deadlines, she still follows through eventually. Everybody just breath, and have fun. -
This. 2-3 prot warriors and try to bring 5 fury warriors. Your fury warriors should be loading up on tank gear as well after your prot warriors get what they need. This gives you great OTs for certain fights that require them and you'll have your 7-8 tanks for 4HM in Naxx depending if you use first HM zerg strat or not.

Not sure if you are EU/NA/OC or what server. But just looking at the guild recruitment thread on Anathema, many guilds are in the process of recruiting a fury warrior.

Even though they show a freaking graph of the DDoS going on right now on their twitter page? I'm sure you know more than they do though. -

Bump-a-roo. Welcome back to all the Hellground "vets". -
roughly how much of a disadvantage will i be if i dont go human for fury endgame PVE.
Undertanker replied to wrathchild1971's topic in Warrior
He is saying that with more rage availability due to gear, your MH (which he didn't clarify) doesn't get affected by glancing blows as often. Your OH damage fuels a lot of your rage. Though it isn't "every swing" that you are using cleave and HS and there is still benefit to push beyond 305. So many people circle jerk around some dps spreadsheet which always undermined mobility from mechanics (ie resetting of swing timers or allowing those swing timers to be ready to swing once in range 0.0 sec MH 0.2 OH, and most important the value of increased white hit damage vs WW/BT damage - more rage) -

Black Dragonflight Molt wasn't in the chest. GM assistance if possible please.
Undertanker replied to Wug's topic in Help & Support
Relog to interact with the chest. or: you can actually move out of the chest area to make it despawn, then move back in to make it spawn again in it's new state which is intractable object. -

GMs/Admins/Mods, I hope this message reaches you well. Within the last 30 minutes I am getting multiple guild members (AT&T users) that have or attempted to use the new Proxy server for Anethema are getting "Account Closed". It appears to be only with the individuals that use the 2FA IP lock. I have not tested the 2FA Setting for each logon as I am currently at work and others are afraid to use the proxy at this point. I've instructed those affected already to open ban appeals. While writing this, a few have reported their account no longer says "account closed". Is there something being worked on with 2FA and Proxy at this very moment? Update: The people that reported their accounts no longer says "account closed" are now getting that again. The most recent person was using 2FA IP Lock, and then logged onto a second account - bank alt for a trade and both accounts got banned.
-
Everybody that appeared to be auto-unbanned are getting the account closed message again on the proxy.

The most underrated healer item
Undertanker replied to TigPvE's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
You guys are putting this down because it is a "hassle"?........ So because you are lazy to swap to a neck item, wait 30 seconds, conjour, swap back, it's a bad idea? I got mine pre-shut down for 30g off AH for my alt druid. The more time you have before raids, the better. Usually have about 2 made prior to an alt/pug raid and make another mid run. It is people who extend themselves to going the extra step is why you see those kills that were SUPER close to a wipe, the 1 person alive endings, the we pulled trash packs + boss mishappens, the 2 healers got DC events. If being prepared is a hassle, what isn't a hassle in Vanilla wow? Because that is 75% of the game. People underrating an item in a thread that is titled Most Underrated healing item. -

If you are grinding mobs that are doing to die before the rend expires, don't use it, use heroic strike then stance. Or cleave if 2 + mobs. You really don't have a range dump due to skipping out on BT/MS with your preferred build.

First: DON'T TANK 2H. Your 20% more dps vs 4 other people also doing damage gives an increased group dps of 5%. Your healer will be using WAY more than 5% more heals to keep you alive with your poor choice of 2h vs sword & board. If 5 man instance trash is a focal point with your preferred spec check out: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#LMhxdGboZVVucMxoV 1 adjustment in arms tree taking anger management over 1% damage on 2h. Unbridled Wrath over Booming voice (refresh battle shout after fights to counter the loss of increased time), 1 point in piercing howl 2/2 imp execute, giving you 3/5 imp battle shout. Casters tend to leave finishing off low health mobs to melee as 50% of the time their longer cast and missile travel time = a dead target before they are able to get a hit in. Giving high value to imp execute in a 5 man. If you feel that isn't the case with your group, can move those 2 points into 5/5 imp Battle Shout.

Looking at other used items, you can't argue the 200g+ for a flask is a result of inflation. It's pure supply vs demand and gouging. If it was stimply inflation, it wouldn't be an issue since ALL items would be increased in sale value over a somewhat equal %, making the time to farm other goods the same in order to purchase your other needed consumables. Though many prices of common trade goods and other items that can be farmed on a more reasonable bases have moved between a 75% - 130% value of what they were a year ago. Compare this to an approaching 300% increase in price of Black Lotus, Dream foil, plague bloom, and gromsblood. I am staying resilient at the time. If I am not raiding, I am farming gold or mats to make a large stockpile of all Nature, Shadow, Arcane, Frost resist potions to add to my 200+ Fort and Agility elixirs and other built up consumables. 1 month of farming, between raiding and I have 70 resist potions for 2 of the 4 schools I'm putting into reserves. I've also had to start collecting Black Lotus when I get a moment as I'll need to stock-pile these to at least 100. While you can get away with AQ40 with only flasking 4 people (2 prot warriors 2 warlocks), Naxx will require EVERBODY to flask. 2 nights a week, 3/4 hours each - (assuming you log at instance and resume) you'll need 3-4 flask a week for Naxx, 5 if you are a twin emps tank. That is up to 25,000g (current prices) just for flask for under 6 months of raiding (125 Black Lotus if you are twin emps tank). 1,000g a week for flask if you need 5 vs 4. A lot of farming strats give around 30-50g per hour. Take the medium of 40g per hour. This is 25 hours a week of farming JUST for your flask. This is well beyond the Vanilla "grind". Back in the day, with raiding AQ40 + Naxx on the same reset, the common feel was 1 hour of farming for every two hours of raiding. Current prices of herbs for a 4 hour raid night (400g in flask + 200g in other consumables & repairs) will need 7.5 hours of farming for every 2 hours of raiding. A 650% increase time investment outside of raiding. This alone will be the end of a lot of players and in turn, guilds. Raiding will be gated by unreasonable time investments compared to 2005/6 and will be a luxury for those whom live the unemployment life, or the select few that can invest 8+ hours a day outside of their full time job to farm + raiding schedule. A suggestion I made a long time ago as this issue was forecastable long before now; was implementing Flask vendors (price can be set by inflation vs average server cost in 2006, make them BoP and limit 5 per toon per week) or have Lotus apart of other herb loot tables. Lotus could then be adjusted to follow the 1-3 rule as with other herbs (rewarding those who find them to ensure we do not make them obsolete). If a War-Effort can be adjusted by 1,000%+ for some items to give a "blizz-like" feeling, why can't other aspects of the game? The majority of the community can't wrap their heads around why Zeth'Kur people that are in their established raiding guilds want to keep a low population? Just read above. The realizations are absolutely sickening.

17/34 http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#LMGhbhbZVVzNMxoio Get Blood Craze. If you are grinding as 2H Fury, you'll want to be using the /sit feature to purposely eat crits for more damage. Usually the amount healed by bloodcraze = the extra damage taken by purposely eating a crit, unless it's a higher level mob / elite. While grinding, your need for stance dancing is limited to Over-Power procs and the full 5/5 Tactical mastery isn't needed. (unlike Arms where 5/5 helps with SS + WW combo).
