WTF did I just read.

The people that wanted fresh over the already existing PVP server to avoid high levels ganking them are struggling to level because same level people are killing them while also having to compete with over populated zones. Ironic. The vets have told you people countless times, find a corner of the map with no traffic and just grind. Besides what's the rush? MC gear is 95% worthless at it's current state and BWL won't happen til August at least. While saying "we told you so" to those complaining about their fresh server they put on a pedestal may be humorous. Watching everybody squirm is more fun.

On Retail in 2005 I saw both drop in the same run, though a rogue took the second one from me like an ass. I spent about 20 runs getting the other one, from level 44 to 50. This server has had a run of double bindings in MC. Does that mean it is broken? No. Just seems you are salty.

A good measure if 1 hour of farming for every 2 hours of raiding. This changes with Naxx though, though holds true for AQ and before.

Pay a friend to boost you. In 1 hour you will be level 10. About 2x the amount of time you put into coming here to complain.

Also bindings were not available to drop since the first MC. They were added to the loot tables later. To be more specific, bindings were not available until BWL.

Things were a bit different for us old timers. We didn't have dynamic respawn on those lucrative grind mobs that sell vendor fodder. Also it is much easier for somebody new to an established server since your items sell for more on the AH.

Bringing this back to OP: A lot of the people that had Nost toons/Anathema toons that made alts on the new server are hitting the point of leveling where it seems more realistic to get rest exp (usually in the 40s) and play their mains during that time. Hype train people hit the 30s where people tend to burn out. Others who went to a new server for that "I am gonna be first level/playing field" are coming to the realization you will always be behind. Considering people are doing MC before you are level 30. Some people are testing the waters, some will play on multiple servers. Honestly it doesn't matter. Is there enough mats for you to buy on the AH when needed? Can you put a 5 man together in a reasonable time? Is there 39 other people wanting to raid the same days/times as you? This is what matters. Server could have 10k people but wouldn't matter if you can't find a raid group. Or could have 100 people and everybody plays together. The position some people hold of more population = better. Does that mean India and China better than other countries? Is a public swimming pool better than a gated community pool? Is going to the grocery store when it is crowded better than when it isn't busy? Can you accomplish your goals is all that should matter.

Another buff you can give yourself is drink a Gift of Arthas potion. Pretty inexpensive and the rebuff it puts on mobs generates aggro, as well in a heavy melee group increases damage done. Crystal spire helps. I always have pally give me ret aura over demo if I only got 1 pally. (If you are alli)

Keeping up improved shield block should prevent you from being crit for the majority of the time on the last boss which is typically a higher level. Once you are ready to raid, drop improved revenge, get the last 2 points in anticipation and put the last point into 3/5 tactical master to maintain more rage during stance dances.

Whirlwind Axe vs Princess Theradras' Scepter "They hit about the same". Scepter has a 23.37% higher top end damage than Whirlwind Axe, and a 30.6% higher average DPS. These numbers are huge in difference and 5% axe specialization doesn't make up for it. Vendor your Whirlwind Axe.

@killerduki All priest drop aggro when they transform. Into or out of their beast forms. This isn't a bug, nor the place to report your misguided information.

One person hit a mail on the head about the alpha damage. That first swing on a slow weapon cloud give you enough for a shield slam at start if if crit, vs a fast weapon giving enough for a sunder only, still needing to wait for shield slam rage. On top of that, due to Crusader being dependent on the base weapon speed of your MH, you get much more % uptime on a Deathbringer than a Broodlorde Defender. It isn't just about base dps of the weapon slower means more crusader. You should still have a mitigation weapon with 15 agility for when you are not tanking a primary kill target and enchant 15 agil

Assuming you are on Anathema or Darrowshire: I will provide a list of items you can get to make yourself a suitable tank for all the 5 mans without your group cringing at you. Only instances mentioned are BRD which you will out leveled, first boss in DM north which is 1 single mob pull then the guard which is 2 manable. Do your "In Dreams" Quest line for Ornate Adamantium Breastplate You don't even need to tank the place. Do /who Strath and any warlock in there if you can swoop in for the painting if they are clearing live. Wait out the instance til they are done and tip them a few gold for the summon. Do the quest "Incendius!" for Stalwart Clutch Grind AV rep for Stormpike Insignia Rank 6 / Don Julio's Band / The Immovable Object / Stormpike Sage's Cloak BRD for Force of Will / Arbiter's Blade / Shalehust Boots / Legplates of the Eternal Guardian / Golem Skull Helm / Verek's Collar (or buy Medallion of Grand Marshal Morris / Naglering Buy Bracers of Valor / Stonegrip Gauntlets First guard farm with a partner DM North first boss for: Bulky Iron Spaulders This will give you the gear you need to confidently go start spam running other 5 man instances of your choice. A good one would be DM North runs for your cloak. The instance in not hard, but the last guy does hit hard, so keep your trigger finger on a health potion in early gear.
