IMO Ironfoe is still a really good tanking weapon for threat at 5% proc rate. My logic: In 1 minute you get 25 Auto-Attacks and 40 global cooldowns such as Sunder/Revenge/Shield Slam. So 65 total attacks that Ironfoe can proc off of within 1 minute. This gives you an average expected proc of 3.25 procs every minute, or 6.5 swings. Now by default we got 25 rage generating Auto-Attacks in 1 minute. 6.5 additional swings provides us 26% more rage generating swings in the same amount of time. In short, Ironfoe gives a tank 26% more available rage to use for threat gaining abilities with a 5% proc rate. This additional raw rage gain to a weapon that has 54.81 DPS. Making it a good TPS weapon before you get your hands on a Deathbringer, Vis'Kag, Claw of the Black Drake, or Crul'shorukh, Edge of Chaos for TPS.

This WAS the case when you drank Shadow Power potion and Arcane exlixir and had Warlock Curse of Shadows on a boss, and Night Fall proc made it even stronger. During the last weekly Wednesday morning PVP update / 40 Man instance reset, they put the 1.9 patch updates to +Spell Power on certain items, Such as Fire Proof Cloak, Force Reactive Disk, and Life Stealing all no longer scale with spell power. Therefore Lifestealing is trash for a TPS standpoint. Your 2 go to enchants are 15 agil on your def/mitigation weapon, crusader on your TPS weapon.

I recommend putting your preferred raid days, what time zone you are in and things of that nature. It will make those recruitment members easier to ensure what they can offer you will suite your needs. -
Where is the server for employed people?
Undertanker replied to Anova's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
@OP like many of others have stated simply play on Nost PVP server. I have a full time job, 3 kids, wife and the works myself. My casual time to play outside of my set raid times which is my personal time late night Fri/Sat, is around 1 to 1.5 hours at most. Not even enough time to get half way through the queue on Ely - PVP server at the moment. If and when you do get a chance to log on and get to level 20, people will already be level 60. I started an alt the other day as farming raid consumables at 60 can only entertain you for so long, and my casual playing time being small. My alt I too made on Nost PVP, I can't do a multi hour queue so I can farm Molten Core with bad loot tables for 7 months. While our guild runs late night US times on weekdays, we also have a Friday / Saturday night 10:30 EST raid nights scheduled for the people that can't invest long amounts of time during the weekdays. By the time you sat through 2 Ely queues you'd be level 12+ on Nost PVP. If down the road you decide you want to make an Ely toon, go for it. It isn't like you are going to be anything server first and farming 1 raid for over 7 months isn't super fun and puts you in an unfavorable situation when comparing gear supply vs demand since every toon needs every little drop atm. -
Why the huge gap in population

LOL I am simply answering the OP of the population gap. Thanks for the compliment of my writing. Though is you failed to find any reasoning in it, give it another read. -

Hope it was worth it for him to shun his reputation for rings that get replaced by ZG rings and then again with MC/BWL rings. -
As a lvl 60 why do you continue to kill low lvls?
Undertanker replied to karlmag's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
You use the most notorious ganking location of all of WoW's 13 year run for ganking complaints. Why are you expecting anything different. Pro Tip: Stop going to STV. You can go to other zones. As a Nost refugee that went to K-1, do you think I had the same issues? Of course. Rather than spend time complaining, I found locations else where that were far off the road and grinded mobs. Then when I got done grinding, I went and grinded some more. If you go to the most popular ganking location in all of WoW history, you are going to get ganked more often than not. If you go to a mine-field what would you expect to be in the ground? Would you still run sprints in the mine-field and write a letter about it later or would you so somewhere safer? -
Why the huge gap in population
Undertanker replied to scurvyjack's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
You assume because I play on a PVP server I am a ganker killing lowbies? I don't got time for that shit. I'm too busy farming raid consumables, speed running new 60s through 5 mans, and duking it out in Black Rock Mountain. My PVP playing only extended to my AV rep grind and those interferring with my grinding/farming. Or that random PVP when a guild is trying to get into a raid instance that you are already outside of. #FunStuff. At what point did my statement ridicule you? It was a factual statement. The game is called WORLD of Warcraft. It's in the title of the game. The basis of territory, faction vs faction, danger, the PVE server takes all of this away, where you can only do emoticons to the characters with yellow over their heads. You play the game differently when doing anything in the world. Grinding mobs, you constantly move your camera to check for enemies. Going to a neutral quest hub, you scope out the area first to see if it is safe for the moment. Going to raid with world buffs, you stay close together with your guild and move as a group to avoid people being picked off. Don't try to come at me bro, I didn't flag myself for PVP. KeK. -

The call is called World of Warcraft = PVP server. Not World of /Wave-craft = PVE server. -
Thanks for the heads up. Time to vendor my Hero Charm.

But it isn't unique. So you can farm a few up for raid. There are 10 bosses, however a good feral should also have an MP/5 int set for decursing to free up a mage to pew pew for more raid DPS. So 3 bosses where decursing is needed, Shazz / Luci / Gehenis. This leaves 7 bosses you can pop Manual Crowd Pummeler on. So 2 to 3 of these for your MC run would maximize your DPS and be enough. Also pairing this with Zandalarian Hero Medallion on a short fight when zerging down the boss is OP as hell.

Is the Nost PvP economy screwed up? CHEAP Arcane crystals
Undertanker replied to Jakobud's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Like others said that the supply is greater than the demand. With ZG out, PVPers can Pug or run it with guild for Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds which is much better. So this leaves you with your demand coming from fury warriors and TPS tanks that need Lionheart Helm as Titanic Leggings are not out yet. Other than that, the bars are then stored by guild banks for Legendaries (100x for Thunderfury, 50x for HoR), and eventually for AQ40 Imperial Qiraji Armament and Imperial Qiraji Regalia for select classes. Beyond this, they are then used as apart of the Naxx Token turn-ins for obtaining T-3 loot for certain classes, though only take 1 or 2 per T-3 token for classes that require them. When a server first all needs Lionheart, the demand is high, therefore the prices as well. It simply isn't the case. Before shutdown in April 2016, the prices averaged 15 gold, though in July of 2015 they were around 25 gold. -
Fast weapons were only previously used due to the ability to spam heroic strike, giving you so much aggro per second that your str/AP/+hit gear really no even in consideration for your average raid DPS. Now heroic strike is only used at the expense of not using the shield block, and even then you do not generate enough rage per second to spam heroic strike with a 2.9 speed weapon. Therefore the speed of the weapon does not matter. What you look for in a weapon now is the overall DPS, weapon speed, base stats, if it has a proc or not / weapon skill (orc/human). *still have a 1.3 speed weapon for Val in BWL. Ideally you'll want two different weapons for tanking: A Mitigation weapon and a Threat per second weapon, depending on if your target is being killed first or if tanking a boss that requires a lot of threat gaining. In a mitigation weapon you are looking for good base stats which you then enchant with +15 agility. In a threat per second weapon you are looking for slow weapon speed > overall dps > has a proc or not / base stats which you then enchant with crusader. The reason having a slow weapon is the first priority here is due to crusaders proc rate being based on the base-weapon speed of the item you put it on. Example: With a 2.9 speed weapon crusader's proc rate is around 5%. In 1 minute you have 20 auto attacks, 40 possible global cooldown abilities to use allowing for 60 total attacks in 1 minute that crusader could proc off of. This gives you 3 procs in that 60 seconds, if no procs overwrote each other, this gives you 45 seconds of the buff, or a 75% uptime. Average AP increase of 150 Attack Power without buffs. With a 1.3 sepeed weapon crusader's proc rate is around 2.16%. In 1 minute you have 46 auto attacks, 40 possible global cooldown abilitiies to use allowing for 86 total attacks in 1 minute that crusader could proc off of. This gives you 1.85 procs in that 60 seconds, if no procs overwrote each other, this gives you 27.75 seconds of the buff or a 46.25% uptime. Average AP increase of 92.5 Attack Power without buffs. In short, Crusader on a 1.3 speed vs 2.9 speed, you get 62.16% more Attack Power on the slower 2.9 speed. This should answer all your questions about tank weapons.

You should read the ToU prior to playing before you get banned too. -
I say, good for you for acknowledging an issue and bringing it to light. Not just posting and bitching about it, but attempting to tackle the issue head on. I am doing the same with late night Fri/Sat night raiding on Alli side. It simply isn't offered, yet saw a demand for it, and doing my best to satisfy that demand. Don't let things deter you. You will come across road blocks, face mountains that you'll question if you want to climb in your recruitment process, and put in a lot of administrative hours that nobody else will see but you. Don't stop. I know I wont.

Druids scale better than other healing classes because their cast times compared to other class allow for a greater coefficient % benefit. Also in AQ40/Naxx there is more frequent periodic raid damage than BWL/MC therefore their HoTs are utilized much more on raid healing.

What if hybrid classes are supposed to play hybrid?

Even the top end guilds will need a Shadow priest. Guilds usually have 1 shadow priest if they are 100% attendance, or have 2 shadow priest and they take turns sitting if there are others on standby as well. This is only after the debuff slots are extended to 16 slots. Before then, even if you want to be shadow, you should be holy/disc spec healing in raids while you collect your SP gear. -

From playing Vanilla from 2005, and then after WotK going to private servers. After about 7 years, you start to learn trends. After many times, it starts to become statistical probability.

If they release another fresh server, they will be on the same patch as Elysium PVP, so if and when a time comes that the hype people stop logging, you can simply merge those two servers together. Its a nice fix for the queue issues, and merging those two new realms down the road if needed would be much easier since the gear wouldn't have to be adjusted. Back to the hype population. Pretty much only 1 out of 3 people will hit 60 at best. When grinding, look to your left, look to your right, they will not be there past level 35.
