:/ Go talk to the people on the confirmed ninja threads. If you were confirmed you ended up on a lot of ignore list, and wouldn't get invited. People doing guild recruitment monitor these things, raid leaders of pug raids check these during invited as well. Great players do stand out, just as people remember the really shitty ones.

You won't be HS spamming on any fight except Val if rage is adjusted to post armor mitigation. When rage starved, Deathbringer is strong, not only for the parry haste, but also due to how enchant like crusader PPM work in Vanilla, it will give you the most uptime on the enchant = more STR for white hit rage gains. Note to new community when doing your 4 month Onxyia/MC farm, if your tank isn't spamming HS, PRIORITIZE Deathbringer to tanks, won't replace for a LONG time.

Swapping factions is normal. You won't have the previous actions common to a farmer, should 've fine. You might get flagged, but a quick review of your logs would check out if you are legit, and you wouldn't notice a thing.

There are a few items that are in the database that were never released. Some are GM weapons, some are used for testing like 50% spell crit staff.

I prefer the way the world us alive and active, and social/reputation still matters. Zones have reasons to go back to them. Old raids don't become obsolete with the release of next tier raid. Demand for loot exceeds the supply as bosses drop 2 maybe 3 things for 40 people rather than 6 for 10 people. You remember faces, a ninja is blasted about his foul actions to the point some have quit playing due to the ENTIRE relevant community refusing to play with them. Gear is applicable for all parts of the game, no PvP only gear, PvE only gear. I can look at you and know what gear you got, non of that barbie/ken doll dress up crap. RAID PREPARATIONS. While people may see this as a burden, I see this as emergence. If my quest was to group with an army (raid) to kill the leader of Blackrock, or an Old God, you would work as a team before going to ready yourself against the foes that wait before you. Not just raid log cause self buffs are all that are needed.

You do know less than half the player-base was 60. Also only what, 104 R14 (something close to that) 52 on each faction out of 130,000 players? A lot of them do it for the gear and are so burnt out on BGs by that point they don't just spam BGs even more. Some do, but majority don't. They get to finally causally pvp with their gear.

Mob tagging is permitted and hasn't been nerfed like Kronos nerfed it. I remember doing the same thing on my mage for my brother in 2005 when he finally decided to play and made a rogue.

Reason Talisman will drop only once is because it dropped only once in Vanilla-retail, across all servers. It was originally part of making Thunderfury, and devs/admins were worried that people may opt to keep the items intended to make Thunderfury, so they created the Bindings instead. However, whom ever put the bindings in the loot tables, forgot to take Talisman out. KeK. So when it dropped, the Tauren warrior that received it was allowed to keep it, and the hot-fixed the issue and a forced server restart to ensure nobody else got it.

Many items needed for raid consumables are obtained from mid-level areas as well.
