Blocks can not crit or be crushing blows. If you have the rage for it, you can keep Shield block up, but if rage from incoming damage is adjusted, then a lot of times for more threat you will not use shield block unless needed if you are having to priorities more threat instead with that rage. Also some mobs have trash, mortal strike, enrage, and other abilities that cause the mob to attack more than 2 times in 5 seconds. This means one of the attacks you will take will be without a shield block charge being up.

It means you can't do kill trades.

I KeK at this one. To OP, there is SOME utility that some of these specs can bring. Issue is 95% and that is probably low balling it, only play said sub-par spec at 20% of its performance cap +failing at their utility.Go look at the Shammy streamer advertisement in the Shaman class threads for a perfect example. Most of these "meme-specs" are capable of pushing just over 500 dps at best performance over the course of MC+BWL with BiS gear, and bring their extra utility. Personally I have no issue with a few snowflakes that carry their weight. But most do not carry their weight, they get carried, and truly believe that are helping with 100dps, MAYBE 200dps. If you call them out on it, first thing you will hear is "realmplayers is broken, I was higher than that...." The rivers of Egypt flowing through these people's mind is overwhelming.

Elysium-PVP timeline should be a bit faster than Nost-PVP since the content Will already be coded and PTR performed. BWL release took a few weeks longer than expected previously, not a lot of things got fixed with a lot of our(community) input from PTR participation.

@CatTails that is a good reason to want to go fresh. @Nurfme the only group that you can lable as "good" that is leaving their toons behind for fresh start is <Final Exit>. Can't think of any others atm. Just as I anticipated the merger, I too strongly believe the admins wouldn't let one of these two PVP servers ever "die" if population ever became an issue down the road. If one server or the other got this way a year or two down the road, pulling the player case under one roof.

Dad? Anyways not trying to head hunt you. Just not sure why you are spinning your wheels on this one. Over 300 online competitive games allow the use of SweetFX. Between the engineers, developers, and various anti-cheat used across these games nobody at Valve, Rockstar, Capcom, Square-Enix, Blizzard, Sony, etc, have said no to using this Reshade program. Only CS:GO gives a prompt on logon that you are flagged for review, and they too don't ban people for using it.

You state little to no knowledge of anti-cheat but feel fine making the assumptions? Where is the line? Changing models, items creation/duplication, hit boxes, mobility. You are clearly upset about being told no to a prior request/inquiry and playing the roll of, if I can't have candy... nobody can.

The vast majorty of Nost players do not use the forums and are patiently waiting for the relaunch while keeping in touch with their guilds via their guild website forums, VoiP services, and the works. A much larger percentage of the people that never played Nost are active on these forums and contribute to what appears to be the "majority" wanting to only do the fresh start realm. Only comparison numbers I would be interested in seeing would be after 1 year of both being open. That damage count only averages the damage done on the bosses. Looking at boss fights individually, there was only 1 boss fight in your BWL run where you out DPS the tank. This is why 99% of the meme specs are not allowed in raid. Cause you run in a sub par spec and go "Fail-Hard" at the same time. A holy priest healing throwing a DoT out would out dps you. And the ONLY redemption item you could have to make up for your less than Auto-Attack damage is Nightfall, which you don't have. GG.
