Question about this Transfer (Curiosity)
Athena replied to Aniel's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
It makes no sense for them to have you generate a salted token to then share the technology behind the transfer system... Why should you need to know how they solved it? -
You can. https://elysium-project.org/play

Why does it matter so much as to which fund you donate? If you donate more towards the servers the staff has to pump more of their own money towards the other expenses...

Look at some of the popular addOn packs to get an idea. -

Minus the fact that there are 100s of blogs to make this a cronjob, even for multiple domain scenarios (and similar solutions), to fix that problem with less than 5 minutes of effort... Even nginx their own websites has a blog post.

You create a new account here. You get an email with a link that you have to click on for your newly created Elysium account to become active. You go to the Nostalrius website to generate a token using your existing (old Nostalrius) credentials. On the Elysium account management page you insert the token generated on the Nostalrius website. Then you can check here if the migration succeeded.

What kind of certificates are you paying for as SSL (TLS) can be done for free these days. (LetsEncrypt)

Making a combined pvp/pve realm.
Athena replied to pl021's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
What? You can do that on both PvE and PvP servers.... -
Chances are very slim that someone hacked your account in the short periode after the announcement during which the Nostalrius account control panel was still active.
-
If someone transfered it, it will say so upon entering the token in the Elysium control panel.

I must admit to being more excited than I thought I would be..

If you think the new PvP server will be better than the PvE when you want to avoid such attitudes... -
Will FoV fix for 1.12 clients be allowed on Elysium?
Athena replied to peremi's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
To be exact, Either way, I have always needed this to be able to play with 3 monitors. Here is my version resulting in a similar tool. It runs in the background if you minimize it (in your tasktray, so you can even make it start as you boot Windows if you want to, so you don't have to manually open it after rebooting Windows). You can change the default FOV either by modifying Settings.ini or by clicking on the tray icon so the UI opens which allows you to edit the "desired FOV" in the range that WoW can work with. You make it apply the FOV fix by pressing CTRL+SHIFT and / (should be at your numpad on the right side of your keyboard). Note that everyone who is saying things like "only applies a memory edit and no files so it should be allowed" is an idiot and doesn't know much about "gamehacking". Nostalrius never scanned for this address, but if they want to they can and you're account is gone. -
No.

It doesn't have to be the IP address that you used last time you played on Nostalrius. The IP has to be the same when you generate the token and when you enter it on the Elysium website. If it says it isn't valid try using a different device (mobile phone?), different browser (or Incognito mode).
