I've sent you a PM that should fix your issue. Also, don't use uTorrent, but qBittorrent (http://www.qbittorrent.org/) instead.

Yahoo is dying anyway, so this is (read: has been for 10 years) a good time to move on...
-
It will be active... More than before by the looks of it.

Which could still have false data that nobody would see. Any system but lootcouncil is for crybabies. If you care about loot while your entire raiding squad is going to be fully geared before new content comes out, you have to be a Legion snob joining the Vanilla is cool bandwagon... -
Then someone (probably him) already finished the migration... To see if they were already merged: https://elysium-project.org/control/user

You must use the same IP to generate and consume the token
Athena replied to Lorilay's topic in Help & Support
Try an incognito window, possibly the result from the high server load. It works fine as I was probably one of the first to start the migration and it worked flawlessly. -
How can you even interpret these instructions to be complex? You create a new account here. You get an email with a link that you have to click on for your newly created Elysium account to become active. You go to the Nostalrius website to generate a token using your existing (old Nostalrius) credentials (note: this page is not live yet, or at least the URL hasn't been publicly shared). On the Elysium account management page you insert the token generated on the Nostalrius website. You truly have to be an idiot if these instructions are too complex for you... See: https://elysium-project.org/transfer Token link is live: https://tokens.nostalrius.org/

BBC Coverage - good or bad?

Yes, but my point is that the rest of the year was good. -
BBC Coverage - good or bad?
Athena replied to Metabolomics's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
2009 was still a good year to be honest. Patch 3.3 (dec 2009) introduced the (battlegroup based) dungeon finder and it was Cataclysm that really expanded it's functionality. That's when it all started to go downhill. -
I just tried, my VPN (where mine equals mine and not a VPN owned by the populair top-search-ranked services) works just fine on Kronos...

The article is wrong anyway. The petition wasn't for Nostalrius, but for legacy servers. -
Question about the server rollback

Actually it did, http://techreport.com/review/7671/nvidia-sli-in-action @Gizzles2313, the simple answer is: yes it will work. The more technical answer for dummies is, don't use it in a game as old as this one. Your PC should hopefully have zero issues rendering this game at +100 FPS so then we get into the area of input lag. For this version of WoW the drivers will resort purely to AFR. The issue with AFR is that "GPU one" starts rendering the next frame as "GPU two" is just about to finish his frame to put it on the backbuffer. Long before "GPU one" throws his frame on the backbuffer, "GPU Two" will already have started working on the frame after this one. This results in input lag caused by the fact that "GPU two" is now rendering a scene based on input that you had already given moments ago (mind you, we are talking in milliseconds here). So SLI, and the effect becomes worse as you add more GPUs to your SLI (or Crossfire) setup, adds a delay between the time of rendering a frame and the actual presentation of that frame. The problem in this case is that your cards will be waiting for the CPU to finish it works, while the GPU would already have been done rendering the next frame in a game as old (and simple) as vanilla WoW. A visualization of this effect: So the summary is, if you don't need SLI to get high framerates: just disable it. If you can't even reach >= 80 FPS without, then you probably want to turn it on.

Not really, it might make sense to create a character on the PvE server on the 17th to start leveling there and gain some experience in Vanilla. Then once the fresh server comes out you could start a character there as well. If you can't handle the amount of PvPing you could always resort back to the PvE server. I would not recommend the old PvP server to start with, as there will be a lot of high levels waiting to gank you.

Will I get banned for changes made in MPG files?
Athena replied to sumsar2's topic in Help & Support
In a way it can. Say you would modify the model of the flag in WSG to always show the carrier his position across the map... -
I'm going to be honest with you: it was actually on Nostalrius that I set my first steps in BFD. I never did Maraudon or BFD on retail, EVER...
-
Haha, good old WC raids. Nice! @Demon, I saw a turtle -> WC! Shows how often I level up...

Get out scrub. Anyone decent had keybinds.

Right, you're looking at a screenshot from the guild that had the US-first (world-second) Naxxramas clear and the worlds first Ashbringer and Atiesh... Must have been the worst players ever!

Welcome to vanilla...
-
For that you would have to ban every single IP address as everyone can host a VPN.
-
I don't have anything from that time, apart from my payment history . When you used to get real boxes for Game Cards... As for cool screenshots (not mine, but webarchive wins) http://www.risen-guild.com/naxxramas.html
