    If you're really worried about this you could always host a VPN on your home network (old Rasp. Pi or equivalent should cost close to nothing to run and there are 100s of guides out there explaining how you could accomplish this)

    They have publicly stated that it is their intention to have the PvE server be the last one to be released.

    And to think that Let's Encrypt (https://letsencrypt.org/) does all the magic for you and includes auto-renewal scripts for close to every webserver (including NGINX)...

    The team should consider opening up the PvE server second. The hardware is already there (the current Elysium server, and used for the stresstest with the Nost. core so it is already halfway prepared). The population is small enough that it will really lose a big opportunity by being launched after the fresh start-server. It just had a new content patch (AV) so you can just push it live as-is and then not look back for a few weeks.
