I had thought of that too Crowley. It's so easy to get caught up in what you are used to. Especially in Vanilla as a new class and starter area can certainly slow that beginning leveling down a little.. but then it's a new thing/experience so that could be really fun. I must say I've always wanted to do a Troll or an Orc. I've never really done either to any great degree. I had a orc Warrior at about level 57. Fury warrior. That was quite fun actually. However, that was during.. MoP I think. Don't get me going on Pandas (ugh.. i hated Pandas). So I'm thinking I'll go for my main: ~~ Alliance ~~ Main: Night Elf Priest (Faith) Alts: Night Elf Hunter or Human Mage and Human Rogue that is a gimme!!!! ~~ Horde ~~ Main: Undead Rogue Alt: Orc Warrior If I really want to try something different I'll go Tauren Shaman!! I forgot about that! I use the deviate delights on my human rogue all the time! Not tried that on an undead rogue! I'm sure I'll make a horde toon to go along with my Alliance toons but I'm leaning Alliance. I just really like Night elves. I always felt like the original clothing was created based on the Night Elf model. As if the Night Elf model was the first one they created. Thanks for the feedback Xom! ~ Faith ~

I don't know how it will play out. I had 3 60's in Vanilla wow back on Doomhammer. Was a beta server! However, I will say the average teenager is way more stupid on the internet than I was. But then when I was a teenager there WAS NO INTERNET LMAO!!! I mean there was but it was so early on. People were actually nice to you then. No joke! ~ Faith ~

Totally agree on Xperl the aesthetics are awful. In retail I just used TidyNameplates. I used the default blizzard player frames. I used tellMeWhen for just about anything I needed. Such a great addon. SWStats is the one I was thinking off!! Supposed to be more like Recount. I'll snag that one. Thanks Happy ~ Faith ~

Key ones I like: Barr addon (Xperl but I may change to a different one have to research this a bit) Damage Meters (helps ensure I'm doing my job - I've heard there is a better one so I may snag that one) CTMail Addon (send mass mail) Cartographer Gatherer LootLink Questie OmniCC Ones I still need: (if you know a replacement for these please let me know) Quartz replacement TellMeWhen Replacement That's it for now. The Vanilla WoW gaming community has ever been plagued by one problem: the selfishness and shortsightedness of its leaders who administrate the servers. In the end all they care about is what they want and what their small group of friends wants and the community will always suffer. With them, the Vanilla experience isn't for fun, it's for a sick nostalgia that gives them false validation for their life failures. It exists to be their "safe space" where they have status that they failed to achieve in real life. I hope Elysium will break the mold. I have to disagree with you here. Pushing the fresh new server to last opened makes all the sense in the world. We are not talking months. My guess is that the Fresh PvP realm will open on January 7th. That is just 4 weeks. You've waited this long .. 4 more weeks is nothing. Also by doing this it ensures some of the integrity of the old server's population. If you opened up the fresh server with the old servers it would be too tempting for a lot of players to jump ship.This could cause not only a bad over population of the new server but a possibly significant loss on the old realm. Now maybe THIS WHOLE POST IS just another TROLL attempt but doing it this way is the best way since they have decided to keep the old accounts. I was and AM a fan of starting with all clean realms. This would have ensured the most balanced population. Letting everyone and all their friends be at the same place. This , however is not what they decided. I can certainly understand all the players who had worked hard on their characters not wanting to lose their progress. You get attached to your characters. I know I still am attached to Faithdriven my 100 priest but I don't play retail wow anymore. ~ Faith ~

I dunno I was getting grief because people think if you roll rogue you like HAVE TO BE undead.. or if you roll warr you HAVE to be tauren .. blah blah.. I'll play whatever I like It's usually been my experience that Horde players are younger are more immature. So if you really want to know why I play ally that is usually why. That is just in my personal experience. I personally like some of the horde areas and they're mounts are much better. However I really like the human rogue animations (female Pirate Rogue ftw). ~ Faith ~

LMAO Well I have not leveled a horde toon to 60 in Vanilla. So that could be interesting. They do have much better mounts. Hrmm.. Undead Priest Troll Rogue Orc Warrior That would probably be the horde toons i'd roll. I know Tauren has more of a health pool but Orcs are pretty cool looking. ~ Faith ~

I'll be on the PvE realm. Probably rolling an Alliance Priest and Rogue.. but still deciding. I actually ran a all rogue guild once. That was kind of fun. ~ Faith ~

They mention you get your characters back because that is simply information they have to report upon. If you didn't get them back that little blurb or line wouldn't be there. However, the article would remain. THE TARGET REMAINS! IT REMAINS!! You can say you won't come back sure but what about after a month or 2 goes by.. you don't think you'll feel the itch to play Vanilla. I think you would just as you are doing right now. ~ Faith ~
