That's cool. I just meant that returning all the players accounts wasn't a necessity. I'm sure they would have lost some players but not that many. At least I think. Ya never know However, the hype train would still have been real as there are so many players out there that want ONE.. just 1 community. One place they can go to, to play Vanilla WoW. Which is why I think we all can agree that if Blizzard started quality legacy Vanilla servers we'd all go there immediately. We want one place where all of us who love Vanilla WoW can play. Nostalrius is the next best option. No one wants to see the Vanilla player base get scattered amongst a dozen free Private Vanilla Servers. ~ Faith ~

I think what probably scares people off of the Fresh PvP server to some degree is the following: 1) It could turn out to be too over-populated. So long que's and laggy performance, 2) A lot of people that never played on Nostalrius will probably jump on this realm. It's conceivable that some of them may not have good intentions. Meaning they are big time retail players looking to really troll a new server that is Vanilla and has a large population (who knows maybe they will find that they enjoy Vanilla more by doing this and leave retail and this is another concern of Blizzards!! LMAO). 3) The same new people that never played on Nostalrius may, for some reason, be noobs?? (I really don't like this point at all but some really unintelligent people think that just because you don't know something you are somehow inferior or too annoying to bother with. We all started as noobs in WoW. So, as I said, not a big fan of this point but I do think some Nos players may have some aversion to being on a server full of players that did not come from original Nos Servers. I disagree with this partially. All Elysium needed was the name (NOSTALRIUS), and the server code, and of course the permission to use it. With that a re-launch (rebirth / whatever you want to call it) and a proper campaign getting the hype train rolling with "Nostalrius Returns" would have had the same effect. So yes, having servers called Nostalrius PvP and Nostalrius PvE was important, but keeping the accounts of the players.... nah.. you could have wiped them all. Which, still, IMO, would have been the better option. Then you wouldn't have all these people worrying about pop balance. You create 2 PvP servers and 1 PvP starting fresh with no accounts. The populations would probably turn out pretty balanced. Everyone would be starting off from square 1 (except croctchBitten *giggles again*). The only reason Elysium is waiting to launch the fresh server is they are afraid of too many people jumping ship. It's that simple. ~ Faith ~

I never played on Nost. The fresh pop does seem as if it could turn out to have the worst audience. I'll try it but I'm thinking PvE realm ~ Faith ~

I have never rushed to max level to raid.. that is the opposite of what an mmo should be IMO .. but to each his own

Having any realms is a good thing. We are all lucky to be able to even play wow in this state again. I despise retail wow. It's not a fantasy MMO. A fantasy MMO should be a journey through a strange and beautiful world where the adventure of just moving through that world inspires you to go on. The thought of running raids over and over and over for the same loot as the next guy is wearing.. pff.. that is not why I play WoW vanilla. Just be happy the realms are here and .. quit squabbling for the scraps from longshanks table. ~ Faith ~

I usually play Alliance because I like the human racial for PvP and Night Elves just look so good. LOL I really think they must have been the first character model created in WoW because all the gear just looks really good on them. I do like horde but that human racial always pulls me back to Ally. ~ Faith ~

Well for me I'll be on Fresh because I never palyed on Nostalrius or Eysium servers. So it's only natural I want to be on the fresh realm. I still felt that a full wipe was a better option. Having three realms that are all on different patch levels when you are trying to create one cohesive community, IMO, probably wasn't the best way to go. But it's not that big a deal. I'm sure I'll roll a character on the Nost PvE realm just to kill time until the fresh start server is up. Cheers ~ Faith ~
