I've played a ton of MMO's and it's pretty standard that the PvE realms typically have a more mature populace.

Oh they don't really bother me it's just that I'd rather meet more constructive people So if one server has more friendly constructive people than that is where I'll go. Simple as that.

I hope there aren't those types of attitudes. I played from almost day 1 in WoW through Cata. So to have someone give me an elitist attitude because they played on Nostalrius and I didn't is something I totally expected... but find really quite humorous. ~ Faith AKA Faithdriven ~

Honestly I'm not sure. PvP generally attracts ePeen's in general. I love PvP but don't care for teenage boys acting like.. well teenage boys. So I'll roll on the PvE realm and see how it goes. I was a big arena player from season 1-5 so yes I do love PvP. Not a fan of mass ganking lowbies. Never really understood the logic therre. I used to regularly in Tera win 1v2's vs players trying to gank my warrior when leveling. I must admit that was awfully fun.

I have a licensed version of Bandicam that works pretty well.

Sadly that is me. zero toons.. Should be fun leveling them up.

Yah that was kind of me. I am leaning towards the fresh pvp as my main however. I've been getting some responses from Nostalrius people that have the theme of "I played on Nostalrius and you didn't so I'm better". I really don't care to deal with childesh attitudes such as this.

and there we are.. people who think because they played on Nostalrius they somehow are "entitled" .. or "superior" . It's a game. Get over yourself. I played all the way through original Vanilla so don't pretend I don't know about Vanilla. You think Nostalrius is some kind of golden standard? Sure it is. A golden standard for a copy of the original. I'm wasting my words .. continue drinking your own lemonade and being rude to people. I won't respond to a child such as yourself again. Thank you! I was having some issues with this too.

Actually the hardest part is just managing your mana / overheal. I was a main Healer in MC and I did a good job of managing mana. I didn't use addons like healbot or anything like that. I just had good keybinds and (uberMicro Skills FTW) and knew which healing spells I needed to cast and when to keep people up. Just do a lot of healing as you level. Make sure you read the tooltips on each rank of your healing spells and understand how much healing you get with each rank. Compare them (Flash Heal vs. Heal Rank 1 or 2 vs Greater Heal). Which guild are you in? I was planning on joining Logic (Nost PvE). I've been the guild leader in 4 or more (The Dark Ages, Warrior Poets, Band of the Hand, The Dark Brotherhood, Order of Prophets, Faiths Followers {I required that all guild members send me 20 dollars a week and recite the Faith prayer before raids. "Faith is Grand Faith is Great Faith we definitely Like to Hate"} hahaha KIDDING!!!) WoW guilds.

Actually I like dynamic.. a random re-spawn timer between 2-8 hours would be fine by me. In fact I prefer this as people cannot see / camp knowing when the re-spawn will be. Also I would like the re-spawn to be random between a set array of locations: string[] arr1 = new string[] { "no_ones_here", "noones_there", "noones_faking_anywhere" }; also *slap* " don't ever go interpreting my intentions.. not ever.. I think we can agree to disagree. I feel all loot systems are not needed. What IS needed are good guild members and a solid guild leader.

I understand. It's up to the players. If you wanna roll vs me for an item we both want and you are a good guild member and have come to the raids you "could" come to.. then I will let you roll even if I've been to 40 and you have only been to 20. That's just me. It really comes down to how unselfish of a person you are. Wouldn't you rather foster a friendly atmosphere than a combative one? To me that is what DKP does. Foster a Combatitive attitude. "You don't DESERVE this because I attended 75 raids and you attended only 50!!" <-- this is a combatitive attitude.. Also, what if 2 players have been to 50 raids and player 1 beats player 2 on 10 out of 12 rolls? What do you do then? If I was player one I would give player 2 the items to get him to where I am. Keep the guild strong as a whole .Keep them happy as a whole. I realize a lot of people will disagree with me but that is how I feel.

Personally I don't think it's fair. However, to that point I would let everyone know what my opinion is for these matters when building a RAID team. A video game shouldn't feel like a job. I feel that guilds run by DKP systems become to suffocating. If my son wants to spend time with me and it will cause me to think "oh i can't do that because I'll miss a raid night and i'll only have an attendance of 3/4 and I might not get loot..." than, in my mind, something is wrong. These systems are in place because there are too many kiddies with ePeens who are not unselfish enough to allow a more understanding type of atmosphere. Also, I feel that if you spend time developing players and ensuring your members are of the right sort than none of this will ever be a problem. You need a guild leader that can evaluate people. This is not as hard as it seems. Most guild leaders seriously fail in this area. If you think the guy that showed up 4 times deserve's priority over a guy that showed up 3 times but had to miss the 4th raid because of family or a RL issue than I"m sorry but you are not the kind of person I want in my guild.
