I personally do not agree with everyone rolling need on BoEs, but what is worse is people falsely calling you a ninja when you didn't do anything wrong. Retail made logic go out the window and people being entitiled to loot. Heck retail doesn't even have need before greed anymore, but a personal loot system where you have a chance of getting something appropriate for your spec on looting a boss.

Apparently it's too hard for tanks to set loot rules beforehand. If Beer rolled need when it was made a loot roll of need before greed on BoE epics, he's a ninja, but since that wasn't the case, he is not a ninja at all. I main a tank in vanilla and if that happened to me and I didn't specify need before greed, it would be on me and not him.

Don't roll need on those when a tank in your guild needs them and is in your group (except if you will give it to them if you win) since that is a good way to get gkicked.

This is why I rarely tank for pugs. I'm not going to risk those shoulders I need going to some greedy little brat like Beerwizard. However, he is not a ninja but just following the rules unless it was specified beforehand that BoE gear was need before greed (which based on the screenshots it was not).

I'd roll a priest if I were you since Druids can't be main healers and are really just there for innervate and to battle rez.

I agree with this for the fresh servers to retune Ony and MC to actually require more than getting together 40 level 60s who aren't retards.

OP always make sure that the rules are clear about BoE items in that if you need you have to equip them. Beerwizard is not an ninja looter for rolling need and selling those shoulders if you didn't make it clear that BoEs will be need before greed (which is obvious you didn't because you didn't show a screenshot of you telling them that rule and everyone but one guy rolled need). Getting those actually means you get their gold value by not having to pay for that much to get them, and it gives gold to everyone. However, I do not at all support what Beer did even though it wasn't technically ninja looting. If I was an officer or the GM and someone rolled need in a guild group over a core tank that needed those shoulders and sold them, I would gkick them on the spot.

I'm not sure any pug will let you tank for them, but it seems like you could probably tank 5 mans with that build if you are geared well with the appropriate gear. Let me know how it goes and I might try it on a shaman for the lulz. Also I might be wrong on this but I think your threat comes mainly from earth shock and other nature spells like chain lightning and healing a ton on a pull.

I would think a class bug would apply to all servers, but I don't know for sure.

The shouts don't do that much compared to consencration, but they at least do something when they work properly.

Keep in mind that KTM might not track every source of threat accurately as it is just an estimation and not showing the exact threat, so it might not have demo in the program. Do you lose aggro when spamming it when a dps or healer does pretty much anything?

What difference does it honestly make? It's a waste of a debuff slot in raids and if you are constantly Pvping as kitty, you should consider rerolling a rogue since cat is just a poor man's rogue.

He's only a ninja because he took the helm that wasn't for his class and didn't even roll for it as he just took it. Rolling for that 2H is NOT ninja looting as tanks need it just as much for leveling. Heck the main reason I tank instances when leveling a warrior is for the 2H weapons.

The build I have is just the standard prot build intended for raiding MTs, but the points in improved shield wall are reallocated to 2 more in tactical mastery.

I would do it at 58 to make things easier since you will be too low level to tank emp at 55 and most people want to do him in BRD. It's not mandatory to go prot to tank the dungeons, but you will have a harder time as arms than if you are prot. I would personally swap to a 5 man prot build at 58 regardless of if you are planning to tank or dps in the raids as you can respec to your raiding spec shortly before your first raid.

They actually put that button in the game in 4.3 with LFR. You don't get the loot instantly as you have to wait in a queue and kill bosses that have their mechanics completely neutered to be killable by retards, but you can afk and still get loot if they don't catch you afk. Also you can only get loot from each wing once a week and it's not a guaranteed drop.

Does anyone know if you can push off crits if you keep up shield block like on nost, or do you have to be 440 to never get crit by a raid boss?

There isn't any pure tank gear that will give weapon skill, but you might want to consider using some pieces with weapon skill in low rage situations (OTing bosses with no cleave but you need secondary threat or tanking anything that hits like a wet noodle). As for the question about weapon skill, you will typically be 300 as a tank and the type of weapon you use does not have any effect on your chance to hit or rage generation from it (assuming no extra weapon skill from gear or talents that affect specific weapon types). You will typically go after whatever has the highest weapon dps as a tank.
