It's annoying as hell for sure. There's around 50-100 of these losers with their own Discord who will grief you in a variety of ways including bringing in tons of the opposite faction to camp you if they perceive you to be a threat to their farming. This was a longstanding problem on Nost, but nothing was ever done about it and I honestly wouldn't hold your breath on anything being done about it from an administrative standpoint, simply because I think any rules that addressed the problem would be difficult to enforce. There are a lot of people that hate them on both factions though, so maybe someday someone will make an effort to grief the griefers......

Whether you think Blizzlike is a trope or not, it's what Eylsium is going for. You might find changes to make raids more difficult on CF when it releases, but it's never going to happen here.

This behavior is not limited to one faction. You're going to find people on both Alliance and Horde that won't engage you by themselves, but will when they are in a group - just herd mentality at work.

Thicker skin is the answer

If you really want to shake your head OP, take a peek at the Kronos forums as the whole 5 active posters there cheer on every problem Elysium faces ;).

News updates are on their Twitter feed, which is shown on the main page. Probably not everyone's favorite source to find information, but it is clearly there on the bottom right part of the Elysium home page. More detailed update posts on the forums or news section on the front page would be nice, but honestly, it's probably much more time efficient to make a quick post on twitter to assure people that they're working on the problem, then get promptly back to working on the problem.

Seriously, this system is incredibly flawed and probably does absolutely nothing to curb gold spam messages. All they need to do is set the timer of their messages in way that does not activate the muting system. The mutes are likely doing little more than annoying people who are just chatting, posting healing assignments, posting damage meters etc. In short, the current system is more of an impediment to people who are doing nothing wrong than the gold sellers you are trying to stop, who can easily circumvent it. Being constantly muted for nothing is FAR more annoying than receiving whispers from gold sellers.

I wish they would just use the theme and layout of the old Nost forum. Much better looking and better organized than the one here.
