can you explain more about the slam technique and when to time it? i have seen numerous articles saying to time it right before or after a swing so that it hits right?

will this increase threat on all mobs pulled or just the one that is hit with the gun? Any other helpful hints for ape threat generation and keeping mobs stuck to me?

So, I set my timezone to GMT-5 which is EST. It shows it as 15:20 right now, and not only is the hour way off, its about 10-12 minutes off actual current time as well. What version of IP boards are we running? Version 4? Had to set it to GMT +3 to kind of get it somewhat in the right hour for myself. Anyone else run into this? Guess the suggestion would be to have it sync to your local system time instead of a "timezone" Plus its also late, this could also potentially go into the help forum too, but /shrug

First of all, you must be blind, Theo isn't an admin on this site. He is just another person posting on these forums. So for you to come in here and say how about he help, when he has no power to help is a bit ridiculous. Besides, your forum etiquette is quite atrocious and you need to learn some manners and just wait like everyone else until the servers come back up.

Right now, Elysium servers are down due to merger with Nost core. So no one can log in on that server at the moment

I'll try and ask the question if I can get to the AMA today. 10pm EST would definitely not be a good idea for server maintenance, but again, they have to be able to appease everyone, so we shall see.

Pretty much servers are down while they work on the core. However, there will be the Q and A today at 1pm EST on /r/wowservers on reddit. So should check that out for more info as well

Tried Chrome on my iPhone, safari, it always says Cannot open the pge because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.

I think my end game goal is to go DPS obviously to level up and then hopefully tank once I get to 60. Either way though, you have a wealth of knowledge that I'm sure we would all love to read over and pick your brain about.

Is this why I can sometimes not view the forums on my phone because of the cert issues?

I am using the one from Kronos, have used it multiple times. Its not a unique install as far as I know, I just changed the realmlist.wtf file setting and I was good to go

yeah I put it in the suggestions forum as technically it could be a suggestion to sync it to local system time instead of some server that they might be using. But it could also go here too

Yeah, the servers are currently down at the moment Cruxman while they work on merging everything. The realmlist.wtf file should already be in the main folder of your wow location. For instance, my location is as follows: C:\Username\Desktop\World of Warcraft 1.12 and in that folder the realmlist.wtf file will be listed there. Easiest way to edit it, would be to right click if on a windows computer and choose open with notepad and then you just paste in what the server connection will be called and be good to go from there

Not really speed running, probably best ways to get ahead of the pack or away from it so you and 5000 other people aren't fighting over the same mobs as there's going to be so many people fighting over the same mobs in the same zones for probably the first few weeks of the server launch

I think the best way to donit honestly is juat get a gathering profession and just go away from starting area and grind grind grind and then follow that up qith aelling all the items you can on the AH

Download the client from kronos website or nost website if it still has it, as its a torrent of the folder. Then when the time comes, you can just change the realmlist.wtf file

Yeah I was reading your other thread about leveling and such. Very well thought out and put into a nice perspective. Maybe make a full fledged guide if you get the chance? Seem very knowledgeable in your warrior abilities/leveling and such.

Yes you can. Just download the client and install addons, test them on another server, i.e Kronos or what not as all addons should work no matter what server you are on for the most part. Just wait for the correct realmlist.wtf to be given out and you should be good to go

The DDoS on Kronos was HORRENDOUS, and tanker is right yet again. That's what killed my interest in Kronos for a good long while. I was up to level 30 leveling pretty decently on K1, then the DDoS hit and I went to another server, dabbled on a Wotlk server for a bit before coming back to Kronos again. But by then, the damage was already done. The DDoS set back what would have been a humongous population on both servers because of the attacks against them and they had no protection nor understanding of how to stop or rectify it. By the time it was said and done, it pretty much killed any momentum that most of the community was gone at that point.

I agree with Tanker here. Possibly a better format for the forums would be nice. The white on white is very contrasting and hard to read at times. But the traffic has already started to pick up and will be getting more active once it gets closer to an announcement/stress test. Especially with the Q and A coming this weekend.
