Yeah, we felt that a loot council system prioritized performance and people putting more effort into raiding, as well as being a much more fair loot system overall. Still recruiting solid players!

Mob tagging itself is not against the TOU. However, being on two accounts at the same time with either outside of a major city, or Goblin town, is bannable. Letting your friend play either your 60 or your low level is account sharing, and is bannable. The only way Mob Tagging works, is to have a friend or guildie help you out.

I mean, there will have to be something done. This is very similar in situation to why the Hunter DM North farm was changed, because of the significantly higher pop, meaning significantly more hunters, meaning more people farming meaning wayyy more gold than what would have been on a normal server being injected into the economy. So the staff did what needed to be done to try and balance the economy. The Gold sellers and buyers market is significantly worse for the economy than the Hunter farm was, so I'd have to imagine they are trying to come up with a solution to mitigate this problem. Unfortunately, as stated in a previous post, there will never be a way to completely get rid of gold farmers, sellers, or buyers from any server with a high population.

I've talked to a GM about this situation. Guild bank stuff mostly, but they don't just ban and not review. If you're indeed not a gold buyer or seller and it was a legitimate sale, they won't ban you, or will lift the ban quickly after an investigation. To try and make things safer, you could make a post in the Items Marketplace, saying you have "xxxxx" Item for sale etc, so you have some type of trace record of the item and what you're selling it for etc.

From what I understand, they do have intentions to progress to TBC as an option in the distant future. Meaning, you'll have the opportunity to "transfer" your character to the TBC server, while still being able to play on the Vanilla server. Or the option to just stay on vanilla. At least that's what they were planning with Old Nost, and what I've gathered from the Devs on here on some of the other threads and posts I've seen.

The only raids available with the new realm will be Molten Core, and Onyxia.

While this was a very well written piece of fiction, it is in fact just that, fiction. Please allow me to provide some information for you about pretty much everything you posted in slander. While my hunter does have most of his gear, and does in fact have an Ash’kandi, all of that gear was acquired while in the guild Axiom, and the last piece of gear given to my hunter was weeks before Echo was even a reality, let alone a thought. http://realmplayers.com/RaidStats/RaidOverview.aspx?Raid=25966 – There’s the Axiom recorded raid where my hunter got the Ash’kandi. Once Echo became a reality, I raided on my hunter for about 3 weeks, never taking a piece of gear. After 3 weeks, we were really heavy on hunters, and really short on mages. After a deliberate talk with the officers, a post on our guild forums, and talking about it in TeamSpeak with all the raiders during a raid night, we collectively decided that me swapping to mage was in the best interest of the guild due to being over abundant in hunters, and not having enough mages. After the swap to mage, I didn’t loot hardly at all. Again, a very hard decision to make to swap to the mage. The alt run, on Saturdays, I don’t really even know where to start here. I will openly admit, that when the CHT dropped, another rogue in the raid won it, and I did whisper him with interest to buy the dagger from him for gold. He said he’d rather have the dagger, and he was awarded the dagger. Unfortunately a member of Echo, on his alt, was sending emotes to that individual in IF after the raid, and it was addressed as soon as I found out about it, and the person was apologized to by the instigator, and we moved on from there. Again, I did not, and will not ever berate someone. No that’s just two weapons. And not even the best combination you can get from MC. As far as the loot goes from the alt runs, I was never the raid leader, nor was I the Master Looter. Emptora was on his paladin Aiishya, and all mats and BoE’s that weren’t handed out at the end of the raid, which most BoE’s were, were sent to the Echo Guild bank, where again, I was not in charge of that either. Not to mention, as part of the guild forums, there was weekly screen shots of the guild bank, and its contents uploaded to the forums for transparency reasons, so it would have been pretty hard to “embezzle” the guild bank, when the entire guild can see its contents on an updated basis. I have a small guess as to who you actually are hiding behind a forum alt, but I’ll never really know. But I’d like to apologize to you personally if I did anything to specifically offend you to the point you felt you needed to make up this very large, and very false slandering post. Nope, they hotfixed the end boss to make it not soloable anymore. Has to do with the ungodly high population and server economics.

Use at your own risk, but has the potential to be detected and get your account banned. So I wouldn't do it.

It's just how it was hard coded in vanilla. Not much to do about it. The generation distance from where it was on Nost before the shutdown is significantly better than it was though, so there's that at least. But yeah, if you're using a bar addon, or even the default bars over playerrs, the generation distance is a hardcode that can't be edited.

The charge change makes it harder, but not undoable. You just have to clear the dog packs out first and then use the side edge more long term. The lill takes about 2 or 3 times longer than it did before the charge change was fixed.

Fire mage, if you're solely questing, is a lot of fun. But if you're planning to AOE grind mobs at all, frost is obviously the better option. But Fire Mage is a lot of fun to just quest with.

The person that got the shield wasn't a part loot council, and I'm not a tank or one that got the shield. I don't exactly know what you're trying to say, or even do by replying to a situation you don't really know about, but I guess thanks for the free bump! Still recruiting!

If that's what you gathered by seeding gear to one of the Main Tanks to ease content and future progression. Then sure.
